itzkr0me
All Fail with the same message as original post booting with the following flags: -v GraphicsEnabler=No ncpi=0x2000 IntelCapriFB=0 (through 10) It does seem that there is another error "flow_divert_kctl_disconnect (0): disconnecting group 1 Trying with GraphicsEnabler=Yes (stay tuned)
itzkr0me
With GraphicsEnabler=Yes I got the following: All failed to Black Screen then machine shutoff except the following: IntelCapriFB=3 - Showed the apple logo for a split second, then black screen and power off IntelCapriFB=6 - Hung @ "Controller: Intel Panther Point (VendorID: 8086 device ID: 1e20)
itzkr0me
What is strange, is with the IntelCapriFB=3 flag, it flashes that logo, but then it seems as if there is an image, but no screen backlight... if that makes sense. I tried to film it, you can kind of see the login box, but again... no backlight. Here's a video: http://youtu.be/7mHBNSZ8_xg
Moderators Jake Lo Posted October 28, 2013 Moderators Share Posted October 28, 2013 Try holding the FN+ UP Arrow or FN+Pause, will the backlight lit up? If you let it sit for 2-3 minutes, does it goes to sleep or shutdown? If the former, add -f to your boot.plist.
Administrators Bronxteck Posted October 28, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 28, 2013 i think there is a chameleon flag for backlight also just i dont recal what it is at the moment... but it looks like you hit the right framebuffer id with the 3. your definitely closer
itzkr0me
Fn+Up brought the image up.. Excellent. I login and can mess around a bit... Then a few seconds in.. all goes black. I use Fn+Pause and it comes back, relogin... mess around for a few seconds.. them boom. Display goes out... and then shuts down. I'm going to try with the -f flag to see what happens. itzkr0me
It's up... it's stable... Wifi doesn't work yet, but I've not looked into it. So.. basic question here. I had to boot the system with the following flags: -f GraphicsEnabler=Yes ncpi=0x2000 IntelCapriFB=3 How do I go about making that default so I don't have to enter it every time I boot? Administrators Bronxteck Posted October 28, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 28, 2013 use chameleon wizard but you might have to manualy add IntelCapriFB=3 into your org.chameleon.Boot.plist located in your extra folder
