fiddle5712
I did look at the list. Where you you think I came up with the dw1490? I'm asking will this be a good fit for my computer?
Administrators Hervé Posted October 31, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 31, 2013 All the models listed as supported can be a good fit. Just choose according to market availability, $$$, card size and compatibility with your target OS.
fiddle5712
Thanks for all the help guys, I ordered an AR5BXB112, installed it and reverted back to the OS's original kext file from my install dmg and now my wifi is working correctly. Now if I could only get iTunes to stop freezing everything should be working perfectly. Again thanks for everything guys really, you got me out of the dark and got me running correctly and that would have been hard to figure out on my own. Administrators Bronxteck Posted November 2, 2013 Administrators Share Posted November 2, 2013 sounds like maybe you have a corrupted install. try disk utility and repair your disk and permissions if that does not help make a second partition and install a fresh copy of osx to it then see if it persists if it does redownload your os and remake. i just had a similar issue with a real mac and app store. every time i tried to download mavericks storagent would consume all cpu. it shows in activity monitor. right now I'm re re installing maverick but from the recovery partition it creates on a mac.
