AppleHDA kext IDT 92HD90BXX(111d76e7) for Mavericks 10.9.1

Recommended Posts

OSX Mavericks had been updated to 10.9.1 by apple last night.

I found the AppleHDA.kext also updated to version 2.5.3.

I just modified the new version, and it now could work with 10.9.1.

anybody who can tried it, and give me the feedback if it could work for you.

telanx,

I assume this is for the Dell Exx20 models with IDT 92HD90BXX(111d76e7)?

I've upgraded to 10.9.1 and your older version 2.5.2 still works. Will try this and let you know.

Thanks.

Update: Tested on E6420, internal speaker and headphone works. Headphone is much louder now, big improvement from v2.5.2. Only thing is I lost microphone. No input device.

Thanks for the file! I tried to instal, but it not works, no audio device found.

If I use the version 2.5.3 audio works, except the mic, do you have some suggestions ?

I'm using Mavericks 10.9.1 on Dell Latitude E5520.

Thanks!

I tried also the version 2.60, but it doesn't work, only with version 2.5.3 audio works, except the mic ...

If you have some suggestion will be appreciated  ;-)

Thanks!

I'm running 10.9.1 on an E6420. I have version 2.60 in E/E and delete AppleHDA in S/L/E. Mic is working.

Make sure to run myfix (quick), if not, try full.
