adimsr
So, I have installed the wireless card but it doesn't detect any network. Any idea why? adimsrs-mbp:~ adimsr$ lspci -nn pcilib: 0000:00:02.0 64-bit device address ignored. 00:00.0 Host bridge [0600]: Intel Corporation Ivy Bridge DRAM Controller [8086:0154] (rev 09) 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation Ivy Bridge Graphics Controller [8086:0166] (rev 09) 00:14.0 USB controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation Panther Point USB xHCI Host Controller [8086:1e31] (rev 04) 00:16.0 Communication controller [0780]: Intel Corporation Panther Point MEI Controller #1 [8086:1e3a] (rev 04) 00:19.0 Ethernet controller [0200]: Intel Corporation 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection [8086:1502] (rev 04) 00:1a.0 USB controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation Panther Point USB Enhanced Host Controller #2 [8086:1e2d] (rev 04) 00:1b.0 Audio device [0403]: Intel Corporation Panther Point High Definition Audio Controller [8086:1e20] (rev 04) 00:1c.0 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation Panther Point PCI Express Root Port 1 [8086:1e10] (rev c4) 00:1c.1 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation Panther Point PCI Express Root Port 2 [8086:1e12] (rev c4) 00:1c.3 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation Panther Point PCI Express Root Port 4 [8086:1e16] (rev c4) 00:1c.5 PCI bridge [0604]: Intel Corporation Panther Point PCI Express Root Port 6 [8086:1e1a] (rev c4) 00:1d.0 USB controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation Panther Point USB Enhanced Host Controller #1 [8086:1e26] (rev 04) 00:1f.0 ISA bridge [0601]: Intel Corporation Panther Point LPC Controller [8086:1e55] (rev 04) 00:1f.2 SATA controller [0106]: Intel Corporation Panther Point 6 port SATA Controller [AHCI mode] [8086:1e03] (rev 04) 00:1f.3 SMBus [0c05]: Intel Corporation Panther Point SMBus Controller [8086:1e22] (rev 04) 02:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4322 802.11a/b/g/n Wireless LAN Controller [14e4:432b] (rev 01) 07:00.0 SD Host controller [0805]: O2 Micro, Inc. Administrators Hervé Posted January 23, 2014 Administrators Share Posted January 23, 2014 Is the wireless card added to the list of interfaces in the Network Pref Pane? You could try and run a new myFix (quick) to rebuild your kext cache.

mrsunshine
Hi! I just completed my 10.9.1 install using Jake Lo's tutorial. The wireless does not work but was expected because my E6230 has the Intel wireless card. However, when opening up the laptop to check the wireless card, I noticed a second Half Mini PCIe slot. I was wondering if I could run both the OEM Intel wireless card and the Dell DW1510 at the same time because I am planing to do a dual boot Windows 8.1 I also suspected that I can just replace the Intel wireless card with the Dell DW1510 and install the appropriate driver for the DW1510 but realize that rebranding the DW1510 might give rise to some problems. Please advise!

Please advise! Yes, you can have both as that's how I have it install. Rebranding the card will not cause any issue as well.
