denmanjum
No difference with the nvidia..so far the only one that will boot is the generic but that leave me with a very buggy system..

denmanjum
Would this be it, Dell 0KU184? That's the MB.
Administrators Bronxteck Posted February 10, 2014 Administrators Share Posted February 10, 2014 idk from searches it looks to be a normal d630 but the findings where a bit vague. is there any way you can install a newer version of snow leopard? the boot packs over time have been upgraded to conform to newer installers. maybe that's where the problem lies? or you can start with whats working like the generic boot pack and slowly integrate the boot pack files till you find whats causing the issue and report back. denmanjum
I tried to do an update but it stalls upon rebooting. My original install is from the retail 10.6.3 DVD. With the generic, I get no audio, limited graphics, and no ethernet. Where can I locate the older boot pack files?
denmanjum
Ok I was able to update it to 10.6.
Administrators Hervé Posted February 10, 2014 Administrators Share Posted February 10, 2014 The bootpack is as it always were. I can't see anything wrong with it.
denmanjum
The bootpack is as it always were. I can't see anything wrong with it. Every time I install the current bootpack it fails, I get a black screen. It only works when I install in generic. I was able to get an update to 10.6.3 but it kept freezing up on me so I'm back to square one.
