QE/CI definitely works with the DSDT just make sure u boot into 32 bit, as 64 bit intel X3100 kexts doesnt have graphics Acceleration.

Yes QE/CI works, but sleep and two finger scroll wont work on my dell 1525 lion 10.7.2 for me please help

@ Toretto

well u can find AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext & AppleIntelCPUPowerManagementClient.kext in /System/Library/Extensions just delete them and also make sure u delete kernelcache located in /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup.

then install my kexts using kextutility.app all done.

Well i dont think sleep works give it a try using sleepenabler.kext and also use screen sleep solution script check this link http://www.mediafire.com/?kjkdvzy2nnd to enable sleep ( it helps in recovering black screen occurred during sleep) and regarding track pad its very sensitive due to bad kexts well i recommend usb mouse.

Hi

Thx for the great guide. I now have working Dell 1525 with Lion 10.7.3 installed.

I have only one small problem. I use a USB bluetooth toggle. It worked perfectly on Snow Leopard 10.6.8 but not now.

Is there any way to fix this?

Thx again

Hi Shakeymore,

sleep only works on intel core 2 duo, i have an intel pentium dual core in my inspiron 1525. So it never worked for me.

Regarding Gestures or Multi touch, there are no available multi touchpad kexts. Even i dont have multitouch on my new XPS 17. All you get is 2 finger scroll and it does work on inspiron 1525 as well. Just check with the settings in trackpad prefane. Anyway as u use apple mouse it might not be a problem.

Cheers,
