Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 16, 2015 Moderators Share Posted June 16, 2015 nelight, what's the display resolution? 1366x768 or 1600x900? Does it only have HD 4000 or Nvidia NVS5200m as well? Which OS X are you installing? 10.10.3?
nelight
I have 1366x768, only Intel HD4000. Yes, it's 10.10.3 (downloaded fresh from app store).
Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 16, 2015 Moderators Share Posted June 16, 2015 Try this config file. I have tested it on an E6430. If you are going to do a rebuild, make sure to use the USB port on the left or the ESATA/USB combo. Since you already have the system running, you could just install Clover on top. config.plist.zip
nelight
Clover doesn't like me. So, I installed clover with: - bootloader: boot0af in MBR - CLOVER EFI 64bits sata + your config list file only And (besides 'invalid partition table!' which I can skip pressing enter) I get this: http://s21.postimg.org/6ncs0qsqv/SAM_0021.jpg Unchecking all DTSTsomethig fixes and with -v: http://s22.postimg.org/jztqgpkjk/SAM_0022.jpg Only with -v and -x: http://s22.postimg.org/wpxytsshs/SAM_0023.jpg But at least clover mbr works and I don't need my usb anymore. Unless I need to reinstall the os because I made something wrong with clover. Edited June 16, 2015 by nelight

nelight
Is there a way to find it with broken os like I posted above? But I think it was the one from this tutorial (mean I think I didn't install any other fakesmc): https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/6372-dell-latitude-5x30-6x30-clover-install-guide/ here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mut20ige5ylgj6o/Kexts%20Dell%20E5x30.zip

nelight
After installing the kexts and reparing & rebuilding the touchpad is working. Only touchpad. There is a battery icon but it shows "No battery". Sound and sleep is dead too (I've got IDT 92hd93 btw.) Or wait… the command is now the Windows/super key! Yay! (it was left alt before) I will install clover now to use the config.plist. What clover install options/things should I choose? These? 1. image.png 2. image.png Edited June 16, 2015 by nelight
Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 16, 2015 Moderators Share Posted June 16, 2015 In the BIOS, switch to UEFI in Boot List Option and add Boot Option set to EFI/Clover/Cloverx64.efi. Move it to the top
nelight
It's working! First boot: It hangs on something at startup (no kernel panic), reboot Secound: safe boot, successful, but hangs after writing the password for login, reboot Third: normal boot, successful, but hangs a few secounds after login, reboot Fourth & fifth: successful without any hangs. I used it with your config.plist At system work I didn't notice any diffrence besides, the windows/super key is not longer the command key. (maybe clover made something with earlier kexts) Still sound, sleep, battery and... touchpad scrolling don't work. The sound is the most important, the rest I can somehow survive without.
