dtrb
Oh, I removed it from the origin folder. I used -v and -x, that ok? And that is the one I'm using, from post #19 right? It hangs at the same spot at e5450 where he shows the garbled screen in post #
Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 19, 2015 Moderators Share Posted August 19, 2015 Try this Config. Clear the Origin folder and Patched folder. When you get to the Clover menu, Hit F4, wait a couple of seconds and then hit spacebar to boot with verbose mode.
dtrb
Same, garbled screen with circle with line thru it. I can barely read "Still waiting for root device" at the bottom.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 19, 2015 Moderators Share Posted August 19, 2015 Can you make sure the BIOS is set to Default. Apply it and then set SATA Operations to AHCI, and boot List to UEFI. Leave Legacy Rom enabled.
dtrb
BIOS set to default. Do I need to hit F4 every time I get to clover? And I want to use clover64.efi?
dtrb
Same garbled screen.
dtrb
So I tried that link you gave to set the DVMT value and mine was 0x1 so I set it to 0x3 and verified in Windows that I have 128MB memory. Rebooted, space for verbose mode and same thing, garbled screen.
dtrb
I think I've got it. I went to Firewolf's link and got the config.plist that Frankie posted here: http://pastebin.com/VE4gZDrKand I am at the installer screen now. EDIT: Install was successful, but it crashed after creating profile. I am booted now with no QI/CE, working on that now...
Administrators Hervé Posted August 19, 2015 Administrators Share Posted August 19, 2015 So which part fixes things? ig-platform-id injection? Broadwell framebuffer patch?
dtrb
I'm not sure, I copied the whole thing. I still don't have QE/CI yet.
