There's no Bluetooth settings in System Preferences. It needs to be under Bluetooth as well. Is it showing there too? If not, it could be USB is not working properly

tanphu194
Bootloader problem solved itself - no more black screen. I installed that kext but not sure if it's loaded, is there a way to check? Here are some screenshots: Also, howoarang said something in post #3 that I don't understand: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/8681-dell-precision-m4800-all-hardware/
Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 4, 2017 Moderators Share Posted August 4, 2017 There's not indication you have Bluetooth in your system, the 5880 in your USB is for either the Smart Card reader. Run this IOReg IORegistryExplorer_v2.1.zip, save and attach it here for review.
Administrators Hervé Posted August 4, 2017 Administrators Share Posted August 4, 2017 Vey common mistake. Broadcom 5880 is a security chip fitted as standard on models that may receive the optional fingerprint reader. But, as stated by JakeLo, it's no Bluetooth module and none are listed on this M4800.
