ss2sameer Posted December 14, 2016 Author Share Posted December 14, 2016 Hi Yes QE/CI is working with M1000M. brightness control doesn't work with M1000M. works with intel HD530. with M1000M internal display is connected through display port , so i guess brightness control won't work unless the connected panel is registered as backlight display. Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 14, 2016 Moderators Share Posted December 14, 2016 Can you share your files? I got a Precision 7510 with M2000M but couldn't get QE/CI on it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ss2sameer Posted December 14, 2016 Author Share Posted December 14, 2016 hi here is my Config.plist here are the things i did to get my NVIDIA M1000M working 1. Install latest Webdriver for the os i.e. el captain 10.11.6 2. run agdp fix app (black screen) without it 3. install IntelBacklight.kext in clover (black screen without it) don't know the logic behind these 4. at times my OS X boots into black screen.close the lid and reopen to get the login screen. sometimes this step is not required. and if it works, it will work for a few days and revert to this stage. no clue how to solve this tried a lot of combinations. config.plist.zip 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 14, 2016 Moderators Share Posted December 14, 2016 Used my Clover guide here but no bootpack until I have a working setup. So far I could get both Intel 530 or M2000m to boot. I have full QE/CI with HD 530 but not M2000m. Still can't figure out the BIOS reset issue with the Switchable Graphics disabling everytime after booting to HD530. Audio working with patched AppleHDA_ALC293. Are you using patched DSDT/SSDT? ss2sameer Posted December 14, 2016 Author Share Posted December 14, 2016 No I am unable to use patched DSDT/SSDT successfully till now. always run into errors So its without any patched DSDTt/SSDT, quite happy with the ways things are. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 14, 2016 Moderators Share Posted December 14, 2016 Sure, add these to KextToPatch and install this to /Library/Extensions. Set layout-id to 1. Repair permission and rebuild cache. You'll need the vanilla AppleHDA in /S/L/E, remove voodooHDA and AppleHDADisabler <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>AppleHDA ALC 293 #1</string> <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>Find</key> <data> hBnUEQ== </data> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleHDA</string> <key>Replace</key> <data> kwLsEA== </data> </dict> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>AppleHDA ALC 293 #2</string> <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>Find</key> <data> hAjsEA== </data> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleHDA</string> <key>Replace</key> <data> AAAAAA== </data> </dict> <dict> <key>Comment</key> <string>AppleHDA ALC 293 #3</string> <key>Disabled</key> <false/> <key>Find</key> <data> hQjsEA== </data> <key>Name</key> <string>AppleHDA</string> <key>Replace</key> <data> AAAAAA== </data> </dict> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
