Ami
According to your recommendations to repeat some commands MacBook-Pro-Ami:~ ami$ sudo chmod -Rf 755 /L*/E* Password: MacBook-Pro-Ami:~ ami$ sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /L*/E* MacBook-Pro-Ami:~ ami$ sudo touch -f /L*/E* MacBook-Pro-Ami:~ ami$ sudo chmod -Rf 755 /S*/L*/E* MacBook-Pro-Ami:~ ami$ sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /S*/L*/E* MacBook-Pro-Ami:~ ami$ sudo touch -f /S*/L*/E* MacBook-Pro-Ami:~ ami$ sudo kextcache -Boot -U / rebuilding //System/Library/PrelinkedKernels/prelinkedkernel kext-dev-mode allowing invalid signature -67062 0xFFFFFFFFFFFEFA0A for kext lspcidrv.kext KernelCache ID: B99528192EDEB871B2E26CB63907C4A8 File at path '/System/Library/PrelinkedKernels/prelinkedkernel' changed, cannot be used Child process /usr/sbin/kextcache[647] exited with status 77. Error 107 rebuilding /System/Library/PrelinkedKernels/prelinkedkernel I've thought that something has gone wrong with the lspci I've installed before so I removed it to trash. And made the commands again MacBook-Pro-Ami:~ ami$ sudo chmod -Rf 755 /L*/E* MacBook-Pro-Ami:~ ami$ sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /L*/E* MacBook-Pro-Ami:~ ami$ sudo touch -f /S*/L*/E* MacBook-Pro-Ami:~ ami$ sudo chmod -Rf 755 /L*/E* MacBook-Pro-Ami:~ ami$ sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /L*/E* MacBook-Pro-Ami:~ ami$ sudo touch -f /S*/L*/E* MacBook-Pro-Ami:~ ami$ sudo kextcache -Boot -U / rebuilding //System/Library/PrelinkedKernels/prelinkedkernel KernelCache ID: 054393882D5E1F63B2732A5C0038E2CB File at path '/System/Library/PrelinkedKernels/prelinkedkernel' changed, cannot be used Child process /usr/sbin/kextcache[688] exited with status 77. Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 27, 2016 Moderators Share Posted December 27, 2016 The last 2 commands looks fine from here even with failed 17 error. Have your reboot to see if sound works?
Ami
Yes, I've rebooted but sound is missed. the icon is grey. Sorry( I re-read your posts once more - not sure I understood everything right - in L/E/ I put AppleHDAIDT.kext and what shall I put in S/L/E/? Patched AppleHDA.kext? What does it mean patched AppleHDA.kext? If I'm right in S/L/E/ is already presented AppleHDA.kext so I should patch it? How can I do that? Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 27, 2016 Moderators Share Posted December 27, 2016 No, just AppleHDA_IDT to /Library/Extension. No patched kext necessary unless you're on Chameleon loader using Hervé's Chameleon bootpack. The binary patch is done on Config.plist if you're on Clover using my bootpack. Rerun these sudo chmod -Rf 755 /L*/E* sudo chown -Rf 0:0 /L*/E* sudo touch -f /L*/E* sudo kextcache -Boot -U / If you get error 77, re run the last 2 commands, if you get 17, just reboot system. Ami
Made all that you told step by step: put the AppleHDA_IDT to /Library/Extension use config.plist from your bootpack (lores config; but i use only config; ssdt I generated from my config.plist - should I regain it from yours?). rerun mentioned commands. sound is still missed. Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 27, 2016 Moderators Share Posted December 27, 2016 Do you have DSDT patch for layout-id = 12 or 0x0C for hex
Ami
Put your dsdt - the screen devided onto 4 rectangles - sure this is some feature of dsdt. so I deleted it. and I made so minor changes in your config - change default boot volume and timeout. after that got reboot. first boot after those actions was corrupted - os version is not set yet or smth like that, but next reboot is ok. sound is still missed( Do you have DSDT patch for layout-id = 12 or 0x0C for hex No, I don't even use dsdt. never had practice in patching dsdt. So the solution is that? How can I patch dsdt? and in case I use your dsdt is already patched? but what for screen artifacts (4 rectangles)
Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 27, 2016 Moderators Share Posted December 27, 2016 You have the lower resolution display, so make sure to use DSDT-LoRes.aml and rename it to DSDT.aml, same for Config-LoRes.plist rename to Config.plist.
Ami
Got all that done - out dsdt from lores, rename it and the result is 4 rects. So I deleted dsdt once more - everything is ok. I mean screen of course. config.plist I renamed too (at the start)
Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 27, 2016 Moderators Share Posted December 27, 2016 Just to confirm, you have 1366x768 resolution?
