styxie
My DVMT was set at 192 iirc, was shown in Windows 7. I used a 10.12.4 installer and using RHmans tip to provide 0x1234567 as a fake platform_ig_id to install. Then, update to 10.12.5 and use the two kexts to boot. Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 1, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 1, 2017 The offset won't change no matter what version of BIOS you're on. Are on getting the same KP even after changing the dvmt?
standell
when grub boots up and i enter setup_var 0x432 0x3, what message is it supposed to give me?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 1, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 1, 2017 Can't remember, but it'll set the value to 0x3 if it's not already. Enter setup_var 0x432 to see the value to confirm.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 1, 2017 Moderators Share Posted June 1, 2017 you could try verbose mode if you're having installation issue. Hit the space bar at Clover GUI and select it.
