what version of BIOS are you on?

Perhaps patching the files from the latest BIOS you're running would help.

Upgrade to latest BIOS, no need to set the DVMT with EFI_Shell, there's new kexts that will fix that. I'll make a new boot pack for it.

Reset BIOS to default, then set UEFI, AHCI, disable TPM and secure Boot.

Extract the raw files with F4 while booting into Clover.

Compress and attach /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Origin here for patching

Hi Jake Lo,

The bios i use is last one 1.17.3 i think.

It seems it comes from the bios ACPI variables which have changed from 1.9.4.

I have given up and sold it to a collegue using Windows without problems.

Thanks for help.

Has somebody tried to install sierra on Dell E5580 (last one) ?

I have a Dell E5570 and got the USB to boot to the install screen and the SSD is formatted.. But when I goto install OSX  (El Captain) it wants to download it from Apple instead of using the USB? It fails the system check and it says to contact AppleCare..  Any tricks to get this resolved?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I resolved the issue by re-creating the installer but I used Pandora's box to create the image and 1/2 of the instructions from previous posts..

So now I have a working Sierra 10.12.3 image on my Dell E5570. I will post the build instructions & details this weekend..
