acquarius.13
Brightness starts again at the maximum level at reboot, but it is working. Before this bootpack, I had AppleBacklightInjector.kext in /L/E instead of having in EFI partition
Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 7, 2017 Moderators Share Posted May 7, 2017 Check EFI partitition, make sure nvram.plist is created.
acquarius.13
Yes, it's there. But backlight level has no entry
Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 8, 2017 Moderators Share Posted May 8, 2017 this is what I have for backlight level B201 set to middle level
acquarius.13
This is mine. Where should I put the hexadecimal value? In both backlight data? Thanks
Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 9, 2017 Moderators Share Posted May 9, 2017 Mine only has backlight-level which is where the value is, yours shows A102 I don't have intel-backlight-level on my plist. Do you have IntelBacklight.kext installed or in Clover/Kexts/Other? You need to remove it.
acquarius.13
No. I don't have it anymore. Maybe that it's because I used your bootback for A13 and then I removed it because previoous version worked better. Can I put backlight level info clover configurator (so into config.plist)? Because I remember about a field where to put the backlight level in clover configurator Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk
Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 10, 2017 Moderators Share Posted May 10, 2017 Previous version has patch PNLF in the DSDT, that will prevent backlight from working. You need the latest version with BiOS A15
acquarius.13
On Page 1 you suggested to move Applebacklightinjector.kext to /L/E. Is it valid also for this bootpack? Because my brightness, following from the first one post this topic, is working using your previous suggestions. The "unique" problem is that it starts, at boot, from the maximum level. I previously tried this new bootblack, but having Applebacklightinjector.kext into Clover/Kekts/Other made the brightness not working correctly (the minimum brightness level of the slider correspond to almost half of the whole screen absolute brightness). I can try of course..and I will report about the behavior of brightness
