Administrators Hervé Posted June 20, 2017 Administrators Share Posted June 20, 2017 When you plug HDMI in, do you then manually select HDMI audio at all? Isn't it visible in the audio PrefPane? The HDMI display has audio capabilities, right?
Kjescha
Stupid me, thank you for your advice - HDMI sound output works. Any advice for the others issues from post #7?
Administrators Hervé Posted June 20, 2017 Administrators Share Posted June 20, 2017 Yup, see previous answers.
Kjescha
Oh, didn't notice your update. You told me in a pn that you have AirDrop working on your E6230. Could you please tell which BT card is installed in there? Searching for BCM94360CD I find only cards like the following one, but I am not sure if this is the right one and if it will fit into my E6430. Kjescha
Ok, so AirDrop depends also on a correct wifi card. I will try to rebrand my DW1510 first and report here if that helps.
Administrators Hervé Posted June 22, 2017 Administrators Share Posted June 22, 2017 No, it's more a matter of having the correct/supported Bluetooth module in place. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203106
Kjescha
Hi, I have extracted the DSDT with the linux method (acpidump, etc.) and fixed the initial error only so the DSDT compiles. But it seems something went wrong as I have noticed some strange issues. 1. Systeminformation doesn't show any PCI device 2. I got two different outputs from AppleIntelInfo for my fresh generated SSDT using Alpha Pikers script. Also HWMonitor shows unrealistic frequencies (29.60GHz, 2147.48THz). Does anyone have an advice? Thanks in advance. Screenshots, AppleIntelInfo and SSDT.zip
Administrators Hervé Posted July 26, 2017 Administrators Share Posted July 26, 2017 Assuming you use Clover, check for erroneous bus/cpu speeds in the config.plist. Use Clover Configurator app to check these. Or you did something wrong with your re-compiled DSDT (but I'd doubt it) and/or SSDT. Why don't you use existing patched DSDT available in our bootpacks? Kjescha
Thanks, I will check erroneous bus/cpu speeds later. Even with the existing patched DSDT I had the same issue about no pci devices listed in system information.
