Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 20, 2017 Moderators Share Posted July 20, 2017 that's normal. Can you try selecting sleep from the Apple Menu bar?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 20, 2017 Moderators Share Posted July 20, 2017 Have you tried this? 11. Make sure to disable hibernation as it's a prerequisite to get sleep & wake to work Ok on a Hackintosh: sudo pmset hibernatemode 0 sudo rm -f /var/vm/sleepimage sudo pmset hibernatefile /dev/null
rubbereend
Hi, I did all that already, i tried it again but still the same issue... Any more options to try?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted July 21, 2017 Moderators Share Posted July 21, 2017 how long did you let it goes to sleep when you close the LID? The power light ever goes to blinking stage?
rubbereend
it takes about 30 seconds before the power light turns off, immediately after that powerlight turns on again, then you hear the CD player make a sound and the powerlight turns off again, this happens a couple of times. until the laptop stays on.
