Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 2, 2017 Moderators Share Posted September 2, 2017 Hmm, strange. Let me check the patching again. Update: Try replacing with this DSDT. The rest stays the same DSDT.aml.zip
seeker_pl
Still the same. No keyboard or trackpad support.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 2, 2017 Moderators Share Posted September 2, 2017 Can you try using the kexts from E7x70 but replace the DSDT/SSDT and Config file?
seeker_pl
I used kext from E7470_BIOSv10.15.4 and config.plist and acpi folder from your previous post. Still no keyboard or trackpad. Administrators Hervé Posted September 3, 2017 Administrators Share Posted September 3, 2017 FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext useless without Fake_PCIID.kext... Just like VoodooHDA without AppleHDADisabler.
seeker_pl
It should be on my kext list. Fake_PCIID.kext installed together with FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext. I try to modify my ACPI table, but still no luck no keyboard or mouse. For Skylake processor, it's better to use HWP Enable, or ssdtPRGen? For now, both are not working, due to the wrong DSDT? Jscout
HI guys I have E7470 with the i7 6600u 16gb 1tb 850EVO and a new 7480 with i7 7660u 32gb and 1tb 960EVO. I would like to install Hackintosh on the 7480 as I already have Ubuntu 16.04 and Fedora 26 and Windows 7 on E7470. which guide should I follow for the 7480. Also both my devices are touchscreens and have wwan cards and intel wlan cards. please advise me if i should just use the E7470 for the hackintosh or if I can use the 7480, other the my processors being the i7's and ssd's and ram my 7480 as same spec as original poster..... I have successfully done hackintosh before on older setups, but its been a few years thanks for your help. Jesse
seeker_pl
Hi, Both Bootpacks are for Skylake processor. Test yourself. I had no touchscreen in my Dell laptops, so it's hard to say, probably DSDT patching will be necessary. Do you mean WWAN or WLAN cards? You need M.2 card for WLAN for e7470 or 7480. Check for DW1560 or DW1830.
Jscout
Thanks for your reply and WWAN is a LTE modem basically installed into the M.2 Slot. I already had the assumption that i would need an external wireless device as i really like the 8625 Wlan its fast as hell so i don't wanna switch it out... i pretty much assume that my LTE won't be working for this install.... either way thanks much for reply i will be trying this out over the weekend i will post back with results.
