  1. Hi Hervé, I replaced the SSDT TableId Ssdt by TableId CpuPm. In attachment you will find the energy savings PrefPanes, both for battery and plug.
  2. Hi Guys, I executed the script from Black Dragon and I attach you here the debug zip.
  3. Hi Hervé I've just tried and no way. I mean, my "problem" is that if I leave the computer on battery and I leave the desk, the computer doesn't go to sleep automatically but it keeps running. If I want it to sleep, I have to close lid or to put it to sleep manually
  4. Hi Jake, I applied all your suggestions, adding the execution of pmset commands and permission repairing but, unfortunately, no way.
  5. Is it because I keep mounted the EFI partition? I attach you here my config.plist and nvram.plist files.
  6. Yes, sure. I always repair permissions after each update. I can try it again but I can confirm you that sleep is not working correctly if I don't apply pmset commands after each boot.
  7. Hi everybody, I applied all the suggestions about Hervé's tutorial on pmset but, nevertheless, sleep/wake is not properly working after reboot. I attach here what I see using pmset -g after each reboot. Is there any solution, apart running the commands at each startup? Thanks a lot Marco
  8. Hi everybody, as the subject of this topic I ask you if you have the same issue. In high sierra (now I'm on 10.13.15) I have to apply sleep/wake commands to prevent hibernation at each reboot. So each time I have to apply: sudo pmset hibernatemode 0 sudo rm f /var/vm/sleepimage sudo pmset hibernatefile /dev/null Do you have some similar issues? Were you able to solve? Thank you in advance Marco
  9. Hi everybody! as listed on the subject of the topic, I encounter problems in making Siri to work. I mean, Siri is not at all the uppermost priority on my system but, in principle, I write you here in order to make the fine-tuning better and better. Siri was working on previous Sierra 10.12.16 but, since the update to 10.13.2 it is not working at all. Internal microphone is working: I can record audio via Photo Booth and via Skype (even if the voice is a bit metallic). Do you have any suggestion about this issue? Regards, Marco
  10. Hi everybody! I just want to add my personal experience installing windows 10 after macOS High Sierra in a Latitude E7450. I use clover as bootloader and, after resizing macOS partition, I booted into windows usb stick and installed windows on the created new partition. The best thing is that clover automatically detected the windows partition so I can decide which OS to be booted directly from clover. The only tune I had to do was to unselect windows bootloader from bios (otherwise that will be the default one). Clover is pretty simple to use in this kind of procedure. Hope to have been useful. 11. I increased the delay value to 32000 but no way.. Any further suggestion?
  12. Thanks Jake I will try. Any further suggestion about config.plist?
  13. I removed the suggested on-the-fly patches and I tried to "sync" your config.plist to mine but I see that there are some differences that I don't completely understand. Is there any other suggestions to improve the config.plist? Small update on battery status: charging the laptop takes the issue back out..
  14. Currently I'm using my old config.plist (from El Capitan) with many on-the-fly patches and a way to use iMessage/Continuity/Handoff. I forgot to put that boot flag and now the values are perfectly synced. About my old config.plist, are there some patches/etc. that can be deleted? Thanks Jake
  15. Thanks Bronxteck! I successfully updated to high sierra
  16. Hi everybody! As described on my signature, I successfully updated my E7450 to High Sierra (10.13.2), keeping the HFS+ file system, in order to avoid any problem still present for APFS and hackintosh. I used the USB media update method which worked basically immediately (after a couple of reboots). I want to thank you everybody for support and suggestions, in particular Jake Lo. One (hope so) final question: in this moment I'm able to use HWMonitor and sensors and I see a difference between macOS battery percentage and HWMonitor battery percentage. Are you able to explain this issue? Is there any fix? You can find a picture in attachment. Thanks again a lot Marco
  17. UPDATE: it seems to be solved after updating to macOS High Sierra 10.13.2
  18. Hi, try following this post: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/10275-success-e7450-optimus-high-sierra-installation-problem/ If you have the 840 M model, consider that bootpack is different than HD 5500 only. Remember to update to A17 bios version Keep us updated
  19. Hi everybody, as the subject of the topic, when opening the guide Dell Latitude / Inspiron / Precision / XPS - Clover Guide the Opera browser crashes all the times. I've tried to disable all extensions but the crash is still there. In order to make all the picture clear, I've just updated my kexts to update my latitude E7450 to High Sierra from Sierra. In attachment there is my version of Opera. Any ideas of what could be? Safari, on the other hand, works without problems. Thanks a lot Marco
  20. Hi! I think you should solve the issue following this guide: https://sourceforge.net/p/cloverefiboot (chameleon, stolen and rebranded)/tickets/423/ This is a known issue from clover v43xx. Let us know if this is also your issue Regards, Marco
  21. Do you have an SSD drive or a traditional HDD drive? Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk
  22. Hi everybody! I successfully updated the external disk test to high sierra. The successful to-do list, in my case, cannot avoid the use of USB installer instead of updating from the downloaded file from Mac App Store (that failed all the time). I really want to thank in particular Jake who furnished a proper SSDT patching for my computer. After some tuning (software that must be updated, check if everything is og, etc.) I will update also the main drive. Some questions: 1. Do you recommend switching to APFS or to keep HFS+? 2. Should I continue to use ACPIPoller.kext? 3. During verbose boot I see a lot of ACPI errors..is that correct? Thanks a lot Marco
  23. Hi! I'm not so pro user as you, but I encounter such annoying issues when sleep/hibernate mode are not correctly configured (i.e. when computer wakes up from sleep). Try to re-apply sleep/hibernate proper configuration, repair permissions and see what happens. I've installed HS just on a test disk. I can update my computer conditions as soon as I use HS on main disk
  24. UPDATE: I updated all kexts in external hard disk in order to be ready for updating to High Sierra. System booted correctly and, after repairing permission, audio is now working. So I’ve started updating to HS. I have a couple of questions: 1. Should I continue to use ACPIPoller.kext? Since is no more present in your bootpack 2. During verbose boot I see a lot of ACPI errors..is that correct? Thanks Marco
