Try ACPIBatteryManager ver 1.70.2 My 7450 had the same problem and after Googling around someone said that and it worked.
-
of course the NVIDIA doesn't work as no Web Driver is available yet.

If you are using Mojave, the patch is again different, it is written in the link.
-
Seems like he was using apfs.efi and that thing showed some verbose text before Clover loads. And he wanted to get rid of them

To save your time, here's my kext. Put in /S/L/E, rebuild permission/cache or put inside IO80211Family.kext, whatever works. Also I attached the injector kext, put it in Clover/kexts/Other Remove the two obsolete kexts you use as well. AirPortAtheros40.kext.zip Ar9285Injector.kext.zip

Support was dropped but there is an easy fix : copy the kext from HS over.

SOLVED: There's actually a different patch for 10.13.6. Read here.

Sorry I didn't mean to offend. I did search but the result showed the usbmuxd, that's why I asked to make sure. By the way, I checked and I already had both at the latest version, tried placing them in L/E/ but still doesn't work.

Can I have a link please?

Currently 10.13.4+ USB kext has some issues that only one USB 3.0 port is recognized and the other ones work as 2.0. Check my thread above as we are troubleshooting it.
-
So, without USBInjectAll, the number of USB 2.0 ports is limited, and the webcam does not work as it's 2.0. If I put the kext in /L/E the USB 2.0 ports work perfectly, webcam is seen, but only one USB 3.0 port. I think it could be a kext patch issue? Attached previous (before the mess up) and current Clover folders for debug. CLOVER old.zip CLOVER.zip

OK, here's a wild thing: I removed USBInjectAll in Clover. All ports recognize as USB 3.0, which means the USB drive is seen. 3 out of 4 ports see the USB 2.0 mouse. The one next to the mic port doesn't see the mouse.

Upon looking at the System Report, I saw the culprit: other ports are recognized as USB 2.0 and my drive is 3.0. How do I fix this please?
-
Wow, thanks for the clean up. You revived my hack to 98%. The only glitch is now the USB ports; only the charging port can see my USB drive, but other ports work when I plug a mouse in (like I said before). Any suggestions?
-
Also, here's a strange thing that I have confirmed: In S/L/E I have USBInjectAll v 0.6.0 In L/E I have v 0.6.6 If I just copy without rebuilding permission and cache, in the debug file it says the one in L/E is not loaded. But all the ports work fine. If I copy and rebuild, or update the version in S/L/E, or remove one of them, only the port that has the charging ability can recognize my USB drive. Plugging an USB mouse in any port works, but just that, USB drive won't work. Any explanation?

Got USB ports back by updating USBInjectAll.kext, but no sound. Debug file attached. debug_14308.zip

thanks. Also how to run the permission.sh file? I ran it and it said I need to type sudo -s then retry but can't type anywhere in that window.
-
Will need to wait till tomorrow as the TM backup takes a day (don't know why it takes so freaking long). But please remind me of how to get the debug file?
-
So I got my backup back, and then decided to update Clover and replace the EFI folder to have the up-to-date kexts. Somehow I lost sound device and the other USB ports did not work (can't confirm if it stopped working before I messed up the update because I did not use the ports very often. Try tinkering with kexts and patches to no luck. Currently I am restoring the backup once more, but I don't know if it will bring me back to the initial state including the old EFI folder? Is there any settings that I should try?

Please disregard my previous post, used wrong instruction. But still can't get past the restriction sign. CLOVER.zip

Cannot boot from this installer, pretty sure I messed up the config.plist. Attached Clover for help. Thanks. I put latest Clover, Clover Configurator, lilu.kext, codeccommander.kext, and whatevergreen.kext in there. CLOVER.zip

I had it before and it worked fine till 10.13.5. Reinstalling now. Maybe need to have an updated version of it.
