Hervé, I did the changes regarding my Framebuffer and I tried to patch the connector to HDMI 00080000 (tried for con0 and con2 as I didn't know which one is the HDMI ) but still I am unable to use the HDMI out? Hervé, I changed my SMBIOS to MacMini 8,1. What I just discovered now is that my cpu is recognized as i5 10400t but it is in fact a 10500t. Anyways to fix this?

So I am running an HP 400 G6 mini pc with Sonoma, all is working very fine and the only issue that I am still encountering with this system is the HDMI that doesn't work. This system have 2 video output-> DisplayPort et HDMI. The display port is working but I would like to fix the HDMI output. Hi Jake Lo, Codec is CX8150 (Connexant) As far as I know, there are 2 layout=id for this codec: 21 and 22 With layout id 21, there is no audio coming from the speakers. Layout 22, I get audio from the laptop speakers but not the four speakers. Indeed, this model (X360 1020 G2) is equiped with a Bang of Olufsen audio system with 4 speakers and I only getting two of them working. I thinks that this is the cause of the low audio volume perception that I got.

I realised that I have in fact 4 speakers on this particular laptop and I think that only 2 of them are working. Maybe this is causing the low audio volume from the speakers. Is anybody here on the forum do have same kind of speaker configuration on hp device which the 4 speakers are working?

UPDATE: I finally updated to Ventura and now the APPLE TV APP is working! Also Youtube is working too! But...I am still encountering issue with low and distorted audio level. I keep searching for a solution but I think that I tried everything... Does anybody have an idea on how this last issue could be fixed please?

I am still investigating my audio issue and I found 2 new issues that are maybe related: - YouTube videos on Safari has a lot of drops in audio and video playback - Videos don't play on Apple TV application. Maybe there is a correlation with these 2 issues and my low audio level.... anyway, I feel that there is something wrong with my configuration. Still investigating.

After some testing I discovered that my audio is completely distorted, it's not only an issue with low audio level. Is there any fix for this issue?

Ok I just discovered that my audio is in fact working... but the sound level is so low that I need to put the volume at maximum to be able to hear something. Is there any fix for this? Thanks in advance for your help!

ok so I removed TbtForcePower.efi and ToggleSipEntry.efi from the Drivers folder and I could get the device to boot. In the meantime, I did some changes to the config.plist (added 2 devices properties) and was able to make the FN keys for brightness level adjustment to work! Now I tried for several hours to make my audio work... Mic input is well recognised and working but I have no audio coming from the speakers. Here is what I get in Hackintool I tried the 2 different layout ID (21 and 22) without any success. I uploaded my last EFI but removed some KEXT (Applealc.kext was also removed) to be able to upload as the size was too big EFI.zip Ho and I forgot my last IOREGX360 MacBook Pro.zip

Thanks a lot for your help! I replaced my EFI folder by the one you provided and now the automatic brightness works! I have still the issue with the brighntess level shortcut (F3 and F4) on the keyboard and the volume control buttons (located on the right side of the laptop). Do you think this could be fixed? Also it seems that my audio isn't working anymore. Internal speakers seemed to be recognized but I have no sound coming out of the speakers. I finally succeed with the installation of macOS Big Sur on this device. Almost every devices are working but I am still having issue with the activation of the automatic display brightness, I can well change the brightness level manually via the System preferences. This HP laptop has a light sensor. Also the Function keys of the laptop keyboard are not functioning. So the "F3" and "F4" keys (display brightness) does nothing when pressed. Strangely, the audio volume keys (F5, F6 and F7) are well working, but not the side physical volume buttons "+/- " . Can anybody help me with these last problems that I am trying to fix ? Also, this laptop model only has two usb-c/Thunderbolt connectors. I tested with USB-C devices and they are working, is it possible to enable the Thunderbolt functionality as well? Jake Lo, I am encountering a strange issue since this week and after updating to the last version of Big Sur. When I restart may laptop I am getting an RTC POST error saying that my system time is incorrect. Setting the correct time in the Bios doesn't fixed this. Any idea what can causing this?

Thanks a lot for the clarification regarding the SSDT files. Also I see that all the patches in the ACPI section of OC are enabled. Are they all necessary for our HP model?

Jake Lo, may I ask you some informations regarding some files that you are using in your OC configuration as I am trying to better understand how the whole ACPI patching is done. What is the purpose of the SSDT-840G3.aml file in the ACPI folder ? really want to understand all the steps that you followed to patch your ACPI but it is quite complex. Also I see that you all the ACPI patches in your config.plist are enabled. Are these patches applying on the DSDT of the machine or on the SSDT files ? Thanks in advance for your help.
