  1. I usually don't mess with previews but I am building a new system so I thought I would try it out. I downloaded the lastest myHack and prepared a new USB stick with it. I wanted to see if HD4000 would work but the installer would hang during boot and -v didn't seem to show any panic message. I then tried it with a GTX 280 and it went through the install without a problem until the end. After the Installation Successful screen it came up with an error message before reboot. At reboot it gave an error and did not get to the Chameleon screen. Another site suggested using Chameleon 2.2 svn r2246. I installed it and it booted fine. This does not seem to break myHack and myFix works. This MB has an EFI BIOS and doesn't appear to require a DSDT. I am running with no NullCPUPowerManagement and sleep is working. I haven't seen a panic yet. -MH
  2. I once had a laptop that I setup for dual boot just the way you did. It wasn't too hard to do and it worked fine for a while. Then for some reason I couldn't explain, the partition table for Windows became corrupt and I lost everything on that side. This somewhat soured my attitude towards dual booting. If I was using a desktop and wanted a dual boot I would just use two hard drives and be done with it. -MH
  3. I just wanted to mention that I have a problem getting my Nvidia 280GT to work with my current MB. Although the video card had worked fine on another hackintosh, I could not get past the "PCI configuration begin". I also tried many kernel flags. I went to an ATI based video card and really have had no problem installing ML afterwards. -MH
  4. I like cheap too. The MSI 9500 GT video card I'm using was only $40 and works well. I don't have any direct knowledge about the G 210 card but it should work. I use NvEnabler 64.kext but it might be supported by Chameleon. I found a comparison chart: http://www.anandtech.com/show/2939 Your English is fine, no need to apologize. -MH
  5. This thread appears to have bad news for the graphics card and Lion: http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.p ... topic=2112 -MH
  6. Whoa, greetings! -Where you are from/where you live. Silicon Valley, California USA -How long you have used a hackint0sh (if this is your first time, state that you are new to this). Some time ago I came across something called "Kalyway 10.5.1" -A brief summary of your experiences in hackint0shing (if any). Started with distros and moved on from there. I have hackintoshed many systems but have only kept a few. I enjoy modding old Macs to run current the OS. -What triggered your interest in hackint0sh. I own a G4 tower. When Leopard came out I wanted a simular intel-based system. A Mac Pro was a bit too much. I like the freedom to use the hardware of my choosing. -Your general computer skill level. Passable I guess. I typically accomplish tasks without requiring assistance. Terminal commands are not intimidating. -List any technical experience you have in various operating systems and programming languages (if any). I generally know my way around Windows and *nixs but I'm not a coder. -If you have any talents/skills that you would like to offer to help the community (optional). Tester mostly. -MH
