    Ok, give this a try Bootpack now included: kexts and Config from E6220 Remove IntelMausiEthernet and add BCM5722D because the E5520 has a Broadcom card, not Intel Repatched E5520 DSDT with same patches used in E6220 Thanks for testing this...

    Have you tried this? 11. Make sure to disable hibernation as it's a prerequisite to get sleep & wake to work Ok on a Hackintosh: sudo pmset hibernatemode 0 sudo rm -f /var/vm/sleepimage sudo pmset hibernatefile /dev/null

    that's normal. Can you try selecting sleep from the Apple Menu bar?

    Boot to Clover gui, hit F4 and send me the origin folder. I'll patch it for you to test with the E5520 kexts and config files

    Use the generic Clover guide. The boot files are posted in post#2 Use the Sierra bootpack for E7440_A20 under Haswell if you're installing Sierra 10.12.5. They are the same system except E7240 is a smaller version. Read through the guide thoroughly a couple of times before trying. Post any issue or question when you get stuck.

    Use this one. I removed the dual link patch in the DSDT, now you could easily enable or disable it in the Clover Config file DSDT.zip

    Ok, looks like you're using an old bootpack from your old post, but at least it gets you this far. Remove VoodooPS2Controller.kext and replace with the one I posted more recently VoodooPS2ControllerR6.kext

    Why don't you try using the Config.plist from the E6220, but keep the rest of the files of E5520 and see if it boots. You might have to enable dual link in the E6220 config file if you have resolution of 1600x900 and up.

Insert the USB drive on a running OS X system 2. Open /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility 3. Highlight the USB drive in left column 4. Click on the Partition tab 5. Click Current and choose 1 Partition 6. Click Options... 7. Choose GUID Partition Table 8. Under Name: type USB (You can rename it later)

    No it's not. Copy again. Don't forget the BaseSystem.dmg file and BaseSystem.chunklist as well This is an 16GB USB drive, why did you partition it?

    Remove it, rebuild cache. Download this and place in /L/E Wait until you get a error popup, click ok. Run the permission fix and rebuild cache again. If still errors out, reboot and rerun the commands again. You should see this kext showing in the output while rebuilding cache.

    If you don't need anything off the drive, then yes to reformat to GPT. I'm assuming you're using this for your Installer?
