  1. Try disabling Karabiner app and see if the problem persist.
  2. You might have to change the Fn key to work. See my E7470 guide under post install. I use an app Karabiner Element to change the Fn keys to match what's on the keyboard. For HDMI audio to work, you need to determine which port to patch. Plug in an HDMI video, launch IOReg and save the file, attach it here for review. IOReg IORegistryExplorer_v2.1.zip
  3. Does the webcam show up under USB in System Information? If not, it could an USB issue.
  4. If you don't have OS X, then Built Clover boot disk under Windows http://www.osx86.net/files/file/4482-bootdiskutility/ or http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/288795-guide-creating-os-x-usb-installer-using-a-windows-pc-only/?do=findComment&comment=2012539
  5. What version of BIOS are you running? Can you boot to the Clover GUI, hit F4 to extract the raw files, I'll repatch it for you and create a new Sierra bootpack. Once extracted, go to /EFI/Clover/ACPI and compress the Origin folder and attach it here. Make sure you see files in Origin folder, if not then you did something wrong.
  6. If you use Clover Configurator to open the Config file, it's under the Graphics tab. There you could change the dual link to 1. But from my experience you don't have to set that for Haswell and newer...HD4400, HD4600, HD 5500, HD520..etc. It'll automatically detect the correct resolution. Only SandyBridge and IvyBridge, HD3000 and HD4000, that you have to set it to differentiate low and high resolution. Which OS X version are you installing? Could be the boot glitch patch for 10.11.x that's causing it if you're installing Sierra using my Elcapitan bootpack.
  7. Did you set the BIOS accordingly? UEFI enabled AHCI enabled Secure Boot disabled TPM disabled
  8. I had noted in the guide that UEFI won't work easily, so use Legacy instead for the Exx20 models. Note1: For Exx20 (SandyBridge models), use Legacy - GUID Scheme. Not UEFI Install Clover with the following settings in 1: Prepare Bootable USB Drive step 26 above: Install Clover in the ESP Bootloader/Install boot0af in MBR CloverEFI/CloverEFI 64-bits SATA From your description, it sounded like it's an USB issue. Make sure you copied the bootpack, files into the Clover folder and not into the EFI folder. The bootpack should have the USB injector that fixes this issue.
  9. Remove ACPIBacklight and/or IntelBacklight, and replace with AppleBacklightInjector only. Yes, use that script to generate your SSDT.aml
  10. Hmm, Rehabman's latest v1.8.26 should have fixed the cap lock issue. Give Dr. Hurt's latest version a try.
  11. Keyboard key for Brightness control doesn't work or the Brightness Slider doesn't work? You need to generate your own SSDT.aml for you CPU.
  12. Try this http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/528-efi-mounter/ or this http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/566-esp-mounter-pro/ Did you format to UEFI or Legacy? If Legacy, no need to mount, the EFI folder is in the root of the drive.
  13. Here, try this. Updated your Config file as well 7548_A07.zip
  14. What touchpad do it have? I'm using ApplePS2Controller (generic) on my system and the power button does provide dialog menu. So I guess you'll have to use the correct kext for your system or give ApplePS2Controller a try but it doesn't give you any multi touch function. Elantouch = Try Dinesh's VoodooPS2Controller Synaptics = Rehabman's VoodooPS2Controller Alps = Dr. Hurt's Refined VoodooPS2Controller Cypress. = won't support Sierra, causes KP unless the developer fixes it
  15. Seems you either missed a step or the USB is not bootable, try a different USB drive.
  16. In order to help you patch, you'll need to extract the Raw files. Boot to Clover GUI, hit F4, this will extract the unpatch files to Origin folder. Compress and attach /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Origin here What version of BIOS are you using?
  17. Which VoodooPS2Controller.kext did you use? link? This system has Alps v7 or v8, can't remember and there's no support for the trackstick (which I use mostly) with the current Dr.Hurt's Refined Alps touchpad kext. That's why I stick with the generic ApplePS2Controller so I could use it with SmartScroll.app. Works perfectly. Kexts that you didn't include but should be needed to get other devices working: AppleHDA_ALC293 = Audio EAPDFix = restore audio after sleep/wake FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio & FakePCIID = HDMI Audio SATA-100-series-unsupported = for Sata, but you have NVME so I guess not needed IntelGraphicsFixup & lilu = boot glitch fix and some other graphics fixes AppleBacklightInjector + SSDT-PNLF.aml = Backlight if you're using 10.12.4 and up Patches applied to DSDT: Rename _DSM -> XDSM Rename HDAS -> HDEF Rename HECI -> IMEI HDEF with layoutID = 1 GFX0 -> IGPU Mutex IRQ HPET OS X check Fix RTC fix LPC Skylake HD 530 patch (optional) USB 3.0 PWR 0x6D Skylake Disable Nvidia
  18. So far I don't see any development of this kext or any other that will support Fresco. Only way to disable the USB 3.0 is to mod the BIOS. You could check https://www.bios-mods.com but I won't be responsible if it bricks your system in the process.
  19. This model has Fresco Logic USB 3.0 and there's no support for it. So the last working OS X that will run on it is Yosemite since GenericUSBXHCI stops supporting Fresco after Yosemite. Update: El Capitan /Sierra installation works. Drive must be MBR formatted Use left USB port to install See here for bootpack
  20. Make sure you don't have BIOS over A12. Use the More Reply Options to attach
  21. Disable Hibernation, see if that helps sudo pmset hibernatemode 0 sudo rm -f /var/vm/sleepimage sudo pmset hibernatefile /dev/null
  22. what do you expect pressing the power button to do besides the obvious? If you mean sleep, then no, you could either close the LID or select sleep from the menu bar drop down.
  23. No, wakes up perfectly fine with/without AC adapter. The bootpack I created is for Sata SSD, not NVME. Did you add the appropriate kexts and patches for NVME drive?
  24. Finally had some success with this system (Sierra 10.12.5). Precision 7510 HD530/M2000M Intel Core i7-6920HQ Quad Core 2.90GHz, 3.80GHz Turbo, 8MB 45W Bios version 1.12.4 UEFI AHCI Legacy Option ROMs - disabled (uncheck) Enabled Switchable Graphics (Check) Discrete Graphics Controller Direct Output Mode - disabled (uncheck) Secure Boot - disabled TPM 1.2/2.0 - disabled Disable all USB/LAN/WLAN/AC Wake Support Replace Intel Wireless with DW1830/DW1560 Issue: Reboot/Restart issue - Will just shuts down instead of restart. Could be a good thing, it won’t reset BIOS to disable Switchable Graphics. HD530 Full QE/CI Nvidia M2000M disabled through DSDT patch HDMI Video/Audio working DP causes reboot (WIP) Thunderbolt not tested Install Clover Guide here Bootpack can be found here Update Clover to latest v4097 at time of writing
