The reason why D420 is mentioned second is because the DSDT file was tested for D430, but from my analysis (from ACPI perspective) the only difference between those two is lack of IRDA in D430, beside that DSDT is identical. Yes I always test new kexts in /S/L/E only then if they work I put them in /E/E.

Yes I've tried but with no success (I have a PCMCIA to CF card converter with 2GB CF Card to test it on).

I was thinking the same... The dsdt.sh script for dumping all ACPI tables is ready. I'm finishing spec.sh for all those OSX related stuff (like IOregistry, used kext, etc) it will be included in next EDP release.
