  1. sleep seems working now after I rolled back the bios to dell's A09 and installed osx in the 1st partition rather than the 4th one Which change matters? I don't know
  2. Which one will work, DW 1395 or DW 1390? or none of them but some brand else? Thanks for your help
  3. I played with EDP config (edptool)a lot, but still have trouble making sleep work. The best result other than simply stay with black screen, is (for set one of the edptool step1 config options) After close and re-open the D430 lid: Forced shut down and reboot the 1st time: My guess is that I just don't know how to wisely pick the edptool step1 config options.. So if you got sleep working, could you please share the trick? Thanks a lot
  4. Are you install 10.6.3 to D430? After the installation, you still need the usb and let the laptop boot to the usb, it'll then let you choose to boot your HHD Than you need to install EDP and follow the instruction to install boot loader etc.
  5. Thanks a lot Bronxteck and Rhyker! Thank you osxlatitude team all for creating such an amazing site. Finally I have a running SL on my D430. Feel so good that I can do Cocoa on D430! Wireless and Sleep are not working yet. How to I know what kind of wireless card I got? There was an instuction telling me just do EDP 3 then 7 after the installation of EDP... Now I understand that I have to be very careful about EDP build config, the step 1!, since that's where the fixing drivers etc are specified.
  6. I still have trouble with D430 U7700. I used SLD430USB.img.bz2 to create the usb pen Installed A09 OSX bios After the installation, I can boot into the new os via usb pen But the new os's ethernet not working and I don't know how to upgrade the OS to 10.6.8. If I skip upgrading and just install the EDP(1.9.2) and the bootloader, It actually cannot let me boot into the new os.. So is there any way that I can move on? Thanks for your help
  7. Ok. the booting trouble is because I didn't follow the instruction to create the usb pen, instead, I used gui disk utility to restore the img and that's why it doesn't boot.
  8. I got D430 Core 2 Duo U7700 1.33GHz 1.5GB 120GB I applied the latest Bios A09 OSX that shows the grey apple but when start the window, it crash with blue screen (Bios not compatible with windows...). I don't really care about this, thinking that I'll wipe up windows anyway with my osx usb installation drive. But for some reason, it not really boot to my usb stick. And I'm stuck where not even started.. So please help (How to rollback bios, or make the usb bootable) Thanks
  9. Congratulations henter2012! I like to try this on my D430.. Could you please share your experience more? What the exact guide did you use? What is 1.9.2 installer? Where is the BIOS A09 (modified OsX version from this site)? Thanks a lot
