  1. I'm still having internal speakers not powering on after wake. Using a patched AppleHDA 2.6.3, ALC269VB, OSX 10.9.5. Tried with Codec Commander, EAPDfix(fixes 1-4), patched IOAudioFamily, rolled back IOAudioFamily. Console reports successful EAPD wake (either CC or EAPDfix) but speakers are still powered down. Internal Mic & Headphone jack still work after wake. Also getting some sound assertions in AppleHDADriver & AppleHDAController. Files:Archive.zip (AppleHDA, System Log, IOREG, & codec dump) Relevant part of DSDT: I don't know if the stuff above the DSM patch needs to be there. Device (HDEF) { Name (_ADR, 0x001B0000) OperationRegion (HDAR, PCI_Config, 0x4C, 0x10) Field (HDAR, WordAcc, NoLock, Preserve) { DCKA, 1, Offset (0x01), DCKM, 1, , 6, DCKS, 1, Offset (0x08), , 15, PMES, 1 } Method (_PRW, 0, NotSerialized) { Return (GPRW (0x0D, 0x04)) } Method (_DSM, 4, NotSerialized) { Store (Package (0x06) { "hda-gfx", Buffer (0x0A) { "onboard-1" }, "layout-id", Buffer (0x04) { 0x1C, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00 }, "PinConfigurations", Buffer (Zero) {} }, Local0) DTGP (Arg0, Arg1, Arg2, Arg3, RefOf (Local0)) Return (Local0) } } Kind of off topic, I was also wondering how dual use jacks get recognized. My headphone jack is also my external mic but has no relevant pin config that I can see. My system is an Asus S300ca.
  2. OSX 10.9.2 addresses the 'goto fail' bug found in 10.9 & 10.9.1, but for some of us the update introduced new problems. For those of you who don't want to install the update but want the SSL flaw fixed: http://www.sektioneins.de/en/blog/14-02-22-Apple-SSL-BUG.html I tried this last night on a fresh 10.9.1 install with success.
  3. Hey can someone post an unmodified applehda (2.6). I accidently wrote over mine. I've tried the sleep/wake fixes (codec-commander, EADP standalone, EADP from Elan) with 3 versions of patched applehda (10.8.5, 10.9.1, 10.9.2) & VoodooHDA without success. I only seem to lose internal speakers on wake. Mic & headphones are still working (sometimes). My codec is alc269vb on ASUS S300CA. (irrelevant to this topic, The 10.9.2 update also broke my cpu power management)
  4. I tried again with beta btfirmwareuploader & bluetooth is recognized & working! Tested file transfer with a macbook pro & it worked, also tested with apple bluetooth mouse & worked without stutter as well. Thanks
  5. Got my combo card this morning in the mail! Ordered from EmbeddedWorks.net for $35, with shipping + UPS brokerage crud it came to around $70. Wifi + BT work OOB in Windows. On Mavericks wifi is working (install method #2) but bluetooth is nowhere to be found. I've tried adding the info to the broadcom bluetooth kext & using BTFirmwareUploader but it's not working. In IOREG I can see it under AppleUSBEHCI/BCM20702A0@1a110000 & product & vendor ID are correct. I thought maybe my BT was screwed up under this install so I tried on another & same issue arises. I'm not sure if this is relevant but System Report shows no pci cards installed. I've tried using different sysdefs & tried booting without my dsdt/ssdt (autopatching via clover) but nothing is working. Oh & I did try shutting down completely as well. Anyone have any ideas? I'm going to try a reinstall but failing that I'm not sure what to do. 4AM EDIT: I tried Toledas bcm4352.kext with the toledaArpt.kext & wifi & BT are working!
  6. I was using a patched AppleSmartBatteryManager previously but that was causing issues with sleep. I haven't tried Voodoobattery. it's weird, when I disconnect the ac adapter pslog tells me I'm running on battery & discharging & shows the percentage & time remaining. The moment I plug ac back in the lowbattery appears again.
  7. I noticed yesterday pslog is reporting com.apple.system.powersources.lowbattery constantly, regardless of actual battery charge. I'm using RehabMan's ACIPBatteryManager.kext with the appropriate dsdt patch. My system is an Asus S300CA i3 3217U Is this normal/common on hackintosh? Everything else (battery icon, etc) reports correctly.
  8. Gonzo is USB 3.0 not working for you? I use the GenericUSBXHCI & checked off the USB options (inject, addclockid, fixusbownership) in Clover Configurator & 3.0 is working (System info reports USB3 & file transfers are noticibly fast). I'm using the clover autopatched DSDT as my default now. I know it's not ideal but it's working & i've been able to apply additional patches successfully. A new issue I'm having is my battery isn't charging after I applied the RehabMan fix. I'm trying to recalibrate my battery now.
  9. Thanks. How is audio working for you? My max volume was too low & mic wasn't working. That fixed usb sleep! Thanks! Is there a DSDT edit to remove the boot arg?
  10. Gonzo, Could I have a look at your codec dump? (if you have) Just for comparison.
  11. I've got an Asus S300CA with almost identical hardware as you (different eth card, I have no Nvidia). I'm running 10.9 at the moment still booting from usb with clover UEFI. Using clover autopatched DSDT with HD4000 device properties in config.plist gives me full acceleration. Not sure about Nvidia. Audio is working with Voodoohda. The bluetooth is an Atheros AR3012 BT 4.0 + HS bundled with the Ar9485. I haven't got it working though. SMBIOS is Macbook Air 5.2. Initially I used 5.1 but 5.2 seems to work better for this machine. SecureBoot can be disabled in BIOS. Try this guide. That's what I used to get this machine going. Guide also works for 10.9. There's info in the guide on how to dual boot with a pre-existing Windows install (I haven't tried it yet). I had a lot of HW issues with ML but Mavericks is working surprisingly well. (Everything except wifi/bluetooth & the touchscreen that I don't care about) The big hurdle for me now is patching my DSDT properly. NOTE: If you use a different clover version than the guide remember to make a /BOOT folder under /EFI & copy CLOVERX64.efi from /EFI/CLOVER/ to /EFI/BOOT. Rename /EFI/BOOT/CLOVERX64.efi to /EFI/BOOT/BOOTX64.efi. So it should look like this: Otherwise clover won't load. My current clover config for reference (try the string under properties to enable HD4000): config.plist.zip
  12. Hey I just sent the requested files. System is a 13 inch Asus VIvoBook S300CA i3-3217u HD4000 Series 7 chipset Realtek alc269 Atheros AR9485WB-EG WIFI Atheros AR8161/8165 ethernet Atheros AR3012 Bluetooth Elan touchpad Thanks!
  13. I think this has been mentioned but I'm still unsure of what to do from here. I got my codec dump & followed instructions & edited my Platforms & Layout. I used patch-hda.pl script to fix AppleHDA binary (Not sure of the posted patches work on 10.9, script said it does). I can't test because I'm still using clover to autopatch my dsdt & I'm not sure where to inject the patch. I noticed after all this that my headphone jack is also my external mic jack. In my codec dump I have only 3 pin complex nodes with control name, one for mic, one for headphone, & one for speaker. I think I'm missing something in my codec dump...anyways here's the files. System is an Asus S300CA i3-3217u Ivy Bridge series 7 chipset with alc269 codec. My codec dump: codec_dump.txt The required info I got from the dump: CODECINFO.rtf The info converted: codecsetc.rtf My Layout & Platforms: layout28.xml Platforms.xml Any help would be appreciated! (I'll be posting this model in the EDP section soon, it's shares the same or similar HW as S200E/S400/S500 & although DSDT isn't patched everything seems to be working apart from wifi/bluetooth)
