With Fn keys only ArrowDown, Left and Right values are assigned but ArrowUp not used. Did you try to use default values for fn keys mode 1 and is it working? And do you mean three finger gestures are not detected at all (or) just need to give more pressure?

try to boot in verbose with the flag -v and look for the messages "Elan: xxxxx" and tell me. Also did you follow the installation of kexts according to my first post?

"Transcript Offline - Buffer Pool Allocate [181000] failed", error is because of HD3000 GPU VMem allocation but i don't know any fixes for this and its not related to DualLink (needed for resolutions greater than 1366x768) dsdt patch which you mentioned above as far as i know. However, this error doesn't seems to be affecting anything.

You need some dsdt edits for my kext to work and i've attached the patch files as well in the first post. Your attached dsdt is corrupted so try to send me your dump based on DSDT/SSDT patching thread so I can patch it properly for this and everything else to work. For Brightness keys to work, you have to patch the dsdt and i've included this patch in the first post. Did you try that?

Did you follow the steps i've explained for installation by removing the kexts i mentioned? Do you see any "Elan:xxxxx " log messages in System log? There is a new version 2.8 which will be released today/tomorrow with fix for the problems of kexts not loading properly and also has many bug fixe/improvements. So, wait for this version and try it out then let me know if you have issues. If you're getting message "sending elantech magic know failed" then you probably don't have Elan touchpad so first confirm whether you have Elan (or) other touchpads like Synaptics/ALPS.

May be your AppleHDA patch is the reason for this problem, because it may have mapped output devices wrongly.

Do this and let me know: Sleep the Notebook and after sleep play some music then Look at System log file in Console for message "EAPD: xxxxxxxxx". Tell me whether you get this message or not? EDIT: I've uploaded new patched files for all the possible EAPD nodes, so check that as well.

Did you install patched AppleIntelCPUPowerxxx kext and added DropSSDT flag to boot.plist?

Is this working with 16 levels of keyboard backlight? I don't have hardware to experiment, so i did what I can based on the Asus implementation. If you confirm this then I might be able to test with a beta tester. Also if you could be a beta tester then I might be able to add something into my driver based on your findings. So, PM me if you want to be a beta tester.

Take a look at your system log for the boot verbose details where you can see which version you have when my driver initializes. You might be having Kernel Cache issues that's why my kext is not working so try to fix those issues by looking at those issue in system log. Also update your chameleon boot loader to the new version or try different versions.

I don't think that is related to my driver, it could be the cache issues so try to fix if you have any kernel cache issues(look at your system log for those). If you're sure that my any one of my previous version driver works with the same flags then let me know and i'll take a look it. I've checked your log and it shows that your touchpad is not Elan because its failing for the query of the driver so confirm about your touchpad and i think its Synaptics touchpad, use VoodooPS2xxxx driver.

Works in safe mode? do you use patched dsdt file? if not then send me your dsdt/ssdt dump by following my thread dsdt/ssdt patching. Which method you used to install Mac? Are you trying to from USB or HDD?

You need patched SSDT files for solving this error. Also the GPU related SSDT file needs to be merged with DSDT if its Optimus GPU for disabling the card otherwise just ignore this file. Here are the patched ssdt files for your processor, try this and let me know. SSDT_Patched.zip

Do you have Elan touchpad? v2, 3 and 4 are hardware. My driver supports only v3 and v4 hardware so far and going to support v2 soon. But, you're explanation is confusing. Which version of my kexts you've installed and working? What is your problem with Fn keys?

If you don't have Windows then try Linux way by creating Live CD/USB(you don't have to install OS, can boot from this Live CD/USB) and extract the files by following the steps in the link:https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/1945-dsdtssdt-patching/ and send those files along with the specifications of your notebook for patching. Mostly HD3000 works OOB, but if you have third Gen CPU chipset like HM7x then you have a problem with the frame buffer, so you need some edits to get this GPU working. However, there are some minor issues with this frame buffer edits for the chipset HM7X still like sometimes getting artifacts but its working fine after sleep without issues.
