    My driver is working fine after sleep in my notebook and others whom i know, and also the log of yours after sleep seems fine. So, something else from your notebook should be the cause. Is there any other old version of my driver working fine after sleep?

    Great work! Would you mind sharing DSDT way of doing this, like what are the strings need to inject? So, i can include those details in the first post for others. btw i've checked the keyboard backlight issue in 10.8.5 and 10.9 with a beta tester and found that its a issue of the AppleACPIxx changes. I've tried to fix this with some ways but couldn't fix it yet, so for now rollback to old AppleACPIxxx kext to get the keyboard backlight working and will update the thread as soon as i found a solution.

    Will try to look at this and optimize in next version. Can you give me a scenario for this accidental drag mode and let me know your configured plist & settings? Can you send me your System log from Console app and an ioreg file after booting with my driver installed? You have Synaptics touchpad which is driven by the VoodooPS2Controller. My driver is only for Elan touchpads.

    I have not tested my driver with 10.9 very well so will try to check this out as soon as possible. Can you tell me what are gestures not working after sleep? Did you try toggle settings from Trackpad prefpane? For two finger scrolling, you need to change scrolling speed from Trackpad Prefpane. Could you PM me your problems so i could check those for beta test with you? For Edge scrolling, you have to enable this in plist and for toggling Hold Right button for a sec/two until you see a small cursor movement then try it and let me know.

    Which keyboard combination you've used for Notification centre at Keyboard shortcuts? Have you checked the picture i have uploaded for this? My touchpad driver doesn't do Fn + xx or mess Fn keys, they are only emulated with Right Context Menu Key/using directly function keys using Fn keys mode from Keyboard kext. So, I don't understand your problem with my driver and you dsdt edited Fn keys. Can you explain your problem clearly? What happens if you use your Fn keys(which you are saying not working)? Did you try rollbacking to old kexts? Is this with v2.8.3? Is it completely not working every time? Can you post your System log after sleep?

    @ktbos Well, the reason for starting with '09' was matching revision id which is not mandatory but i thought its best to use matching id, and I know that '03' works for most of them but the difference between '03' and '09' is that they are using different values for LVDS detection other than both works fine for every other values from the people i know. So, if we swap the values of LVDS from '03' to '09' then it also works fine, that's why i have included two tables of edited values for '09' above where one has default value of '09' and other one has '03' LVDS value. Also i don't have HD4000 hardware with me to understand every value, but i wanted to give some insight about HD4000 connectors for everyone for a start in patching these with my guide which is based on the HD3000 connectors experiment understanding and experience with HD4000 from other users and web. So, I will try to improve this guide when i get my hands on HD4000 and find any details that's related to this.

    May be its related ACPIxxx changes made by Apple i guess, I don't have hardware to test/debug this but I'll try to contact the beta tester i know and will take a look at this.

    Strange, lots of people have this issue but for me and some people i know have no problems. Can you send me your System log from Console app so i can take a look your issue?

    Its not related to the touchpad driver and its common that pointer goes away when video is playing. Well, i have been using 10.8.5 without problems. I doubt about your kernel caches to be the reason for your problem, so let me check whether you have any kernel related issues (or) not, so send me your kernel/system log from Console app.

    Good to know that you made progress and got it working to be usable. Well, I've been very busy these days so i couldn't get enough time to take a look at your problem so sorry for this, but i have time tomorrow so i can surely let you know about this if i did find any possibilities. I'm waiting for Apple to release the sources of 10.8.5 in order to patch. So, I'll update my post with the patches and patched kexts as soon as Apple releases their sources.

    Have you tried the new version v2.8.3? If you still have that issue then i would need some testing from you to fix this, so PM me for details.

    I'll upload the patched dsdt/ssdt files into our EDP database tomorrow, so you can use our EDP app for the kexts and dsdt/ssdt files for your model as post installation from that.

    I've patched AppleHDA based on your codec dump, so try the attached patched file and let me know. Remember, you need to patch dsdt for HDEF with layout ID 28 as i've explained in Binary patch thread. And try to analyze my patched xml files and the codec verbs i've used inside plist file for understanding the differences, so you can do it yourself in future. AppleHDA_ALC270_Patched.zip

    What features are you missing? I've explained about every feature and how it can be turned on/off using plist edit, so go through those details. do you have v3 (or) v4 hardware?

    For disabling features, you have to assign value -1 in plist for those features so read plist editing section for more details. For beta test, PM me and i'll give details.
