Jake Lo, I cannot get hdmi audio to work. Am I missing some SSDT edits? I remember I changed smthing in SSDT for EL Cap but cant find what. Im using most of your config.plist and everything works besides HDMI Audio. Do You remember/know what to do? In El Cap hdmi audio works for me.

Dr. Hurt, could You please tell mi which settings are responsible for scrolling? I want to make last phase of scrolling smoother, to stop scrolling slower, more inertia like. Now it just makes few lines and stops and it doesn't feel right for me. Vertical scrolling of course.

Dr.hurt, - try setting v/hscrolldivisor to 1 worked for me. Now cursor is super smooth and gestures work great both 3 and 4 fingers. For E7440 users - give it a try if You have issues with Release 4. Thx a lot Dr hurt, you are the best! Modified kext: Release 4 by Kfiatos.zip

Dr. Hurt, could you please explain to me difference between your driver and Rehabman's driver. In your version (Rushmore v3) when I apply light touch or slow movement - coursor stops. In Rehabman's it just slows so the movement is smooth. On the other hand your RC4 perfectly supports 3 finger gestures (I love them) when Rehabman's supports only 2 direcions for 3 finger gestures but all directions using 4 fingers. 4 fingers unfortunately doesn't work for me, its very inconvenient. Maybe there is simple solution to solve this issue? I can tinker myself but my cpp knowledge is rather basic. Looks like Im the only one with this issue or others don't care

Ok trying last time with Sierra. Herve, do You use 10.12 at the moment? Do you have trackpad prefpane working and what method did You used to get it working?

Could You please upload oryginal prefPane? I deleted mine unfortunately Edit: Nevermind. I left Sierra for now. 2nd time when put to sleep got black screen (fan was working), nothing worked so I pushed power. Next boot sdd corrupted, not able to repair. I had to format. Im not going to install it 3rd time. One good thing is that I made image of working state of sierra. Maybe later I will try again, but not now

Unfortunately it doesn't for me. I have patched trackpad.prefPane, maybe this is an issue? I use Rehabman's last kext and it works great but no gestures. Dr Hurt's RC4 is choppy and not smooth for me, but gives me gestures. Merge of those 2 would be perfect

Dell e7440. Rc4, trackpad movement choppy. You can't move cursor across the whole touchpad, because it stops by itself. Lifting finger helps and you can move again. Gestures work great. Also scrolling is laggy, not smooth. In fact last Rehabman version is better for me on e7440 but lacks gestures support. Any suggestions? Sierra 10.12.1

Alex could You please share ps2 kext that you're using? Wanna try. On mine 3 finger gestures only work for movement up and right. If I could get it to work if 4 directions Sierra could be my daily driver. Hdmi audio patch is the same as El Cap?

Okay, managed to get brightness working with intelbacklight.kext and dsdt (patched already for 10.11). No sound... Do you guys have idea where to start? Maybe someone already made it working?

I installed 10.12 on my Dell yesterday and updated to 10.12.1 beta 4. Trackpad ofcourse empty in preferences (known issue). Got wifi working (DW1550).The problem for me is audio and brightness. fn+insert -> brightness up and fn+f3-> brightness down are working but in strange range. I can have very bright display or no backlitght at all. If you know fix for audio, just point me the direction and Ill manage. I have perfectly working 10.11.3 on this setup and used ssdt and dsdt from that system. Am I missing something?

What do I have to do to get displayport to work. Hdmi works with audio but DP gives me kernel panic and reboot. Maybe I missed something in dsdt, hd4400.

As far as I know, you have to boot Yosemite prior to install of Clover... Copying EFI is not enough (I tried). You can install 10.11 on older Clover (I used 3280) but you cannot upgrade to 10.11.1 (bootloop).

No step by step guide yet but you can use my EFI folder. Remember to change serial num in config.plist, use your DSDT and SSDT or use these from post #507. Also important is to upgrade CLOVER to 3292 if you want 10.11.1 (otherwise bootloop). EFI

Yes, it did fixed. After Clover upgrade system boots slower for me. Aside from this 10.11.1 runs fine.

Yesterday I tried to install 10.11.1 update but failed to boot. Immediate reboot after Clover screen. New kernel or smth?

Okey... I patched DSDT.aml.jake.aml with these three patches (from prev page), removed FakePCIID_XHCMux and got everything working. You're The Best Jake Lo After going from 10.10.3 to 10.11 big improvement in speed and wifi works better for me. Thank You

Managed to patch Your DSDT and now only inconvience is that I have to wake with power button I use fakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext with success. Sometimes also freeze on booting :/

Hi! Just upgraded 10.10.3 to 10.11. Used Robertostudios zip and everything works except sleep if something is connected to USB 3.0 (usb otherwise is working fine). Any solution? Tried repatching my DSDT but cannot boot on my DSDT. Now I'm using Robertostudios DSDT. No GenericUSBXhci.kext Maybe tell me how exactly prepare DSDT for 10.11. The same method as in guide plus this 3 patches from post #506 ? Am I missing something? Tried patching myself with no success. DSDT working in 10.10.3 is no longer good in 10.11. I have bios A15. Can someone help me with patching or send DSTD suitable for 10.11 and 4300u? EDIT I'm geting Wake reason: LID0 Suggestions?

Another issue, now with wifi. AC( 866mbps) wifi only works after boot. If I put laptop to sleep and wake, wifi works only in N (300mbps). The same is when I turn wifi ON/OFF with switch on the right side of the case. In windows no problems. Any idea?

Is your coursor also glitchy? Jumping around sometimes? Not precise? Is there any way to improve it?

I also confirm working Fn+F1 to sleep on E7440
