Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 23, 2018 Moderators Share Posted March 23, 2018 Update Lilu.kext, IntelGraphicsFixup, AppleALC, IntelGraphicsDVMTFixup, Shiki, and AirportBrcmFixup. You can get them from my E7470_1.17.5_HS bootpack (better to just replace the whole kext folder with it) or get the latest from these links https://github.com/v...6/Lilu/releases https://github.com/v...KnownPlugins.md https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/ Then replace with the new Config and DSDT/SSDT again. You could try doing this to the USB installer first and boot from that to see if it goes through before doing the same on the installed drive. You should also update Clover on the installed drive too before rebooting.
andradejose
I replaced the kext folder from E7470_1.17.5_HS bootpack along with the new Config and DSDT/SSDT in the USB. The USB installer is loading perfectly with the above mentioned changes. I am able to boot the system with the USB, and noticed that WiFi and Bluetooth are broken. I replaced the kext folder from E7470_1.17.5_HS bootpack along with the new Config and DSDT/SSDT in the system EFI, updated the systems's Clover to 4411. I repaired permissions, rebuilt cache and got an error "AirportBrcmFixup.kext - dependency 'as.vit9696.Lilu" no found". Upon reboot, the system hangs on "++++++++++++" without other text. I am still able to boot the system using the USB.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted March 23, 2018 Moderators Share Posted March 23, 2018 There's no physical switch for this model, but not sure if Fn+PrtScr will turn it off/on. Try from terminal sudo networksetup -setairportpower en2 on

andradejose
Fn+PrtScr now turned on Bluetooth, I was unable to toggle WiFi "on". I restarted the computed and now both work. I believe the laptop is up and running back to 100%. YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING! Thank you for all your help and quick responses. My OS still 10.13 It seems that my wife didn't update the computer at all. Any ideas what might have caused the computer to crash?
