Can you circumstantially explain what need to do for touchpad work after sleep? My hang after sleep until power off.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 27, 2018 Moderators Share Posted May 27, 2018 @catmater Do this: Remove AppleIntelLpssI2C.kext & AppleIntelLpssI2CController.kext from /S/L/E Install the 2 attached kexts to /L/E or /S/L/E Replace the DSDT.aml Repair permission and rebuild cache Reboot Catmater_I2C.zip

Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 28, 2018 Moderators Share Posted May 28, 2018 Does 2 finger scrolling work? other gestures???
catmater
Yes, two-finger gesture work for scrolling up and down. Double-finger-touch for right buttion menu also work. What gestures need to test?
Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 28, 2018 Moderators Share Posted May 28, 2018 Does touchpad show in Preference where you can adjust settings? Can you attach an IOReg? Want to determine if it has an Alps, Synaptics or Precision touchpad.
catmater
Yes, showed. Touchpad is Alps. Here is ioreg: catmater.zip Very many gestures are not working (all with 3 fingers exactly)
Moderators Jake Lo Posted May 28, 2018 Moderators Share Posted May 28, 2018 Hmm, strange you and @Liem Vo both have the same system but according to Liem Vo, his is Synaptics and does not have multi touch, not even 2 fingers scrolling. I checked both your IOReg and his, they both show the same devices under TPD1...pondering...
catmater
Cant say why. two-fingers -scroll work are the best in touchpad or touchscreen. Use you patched DSDT and you I2C kexts. I can give you any information about my system, what you want (EFI, Kexts info , debug, etc ) if it help you.
