denkteich
Hi, who has an internal M2 Wifi-Card working on an E-Latitude? I tried: Broadcom BCM94352Z DW1560 DW-1820A with were not working. Is there any card that works OOB? TIA .d
Administrators Bronxteck Posted June 7, 2019 Administrators Share Posted June 7, 2019 both of those cards should have possibility of some support but it might be a specific hardware version
denkteich
ok, that might explain why they are not working. is there any card that works in any case? how do the other users solve the wifi issue? is there a driver for the original intel card? Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 7, 2019 Moderators Share Posted June 7, 2019 @denkteich Intel wifi are not supported, probably never will. DW1560 should work with the following 4 kexts: Lilu.kext + AirportBrcmFixup.kext -> /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other or /L/E //for Wifi BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext + BrcmPatchRAM2.kext -> /Library/Extensions // for Bluetooth DW1820a: Hervé has a guide for it here
denkteich
OK, I'll try the DW1560 again, maybe the card was broken. the tested card didn't work on windows either.
denkteich
Hi, sorry to bother you again. I've got me a new DW1560. The card is working under Windows (dual boot) without any problem. Under MacOS I can not see wifi. I installed Lilu.kext + AirportBrcmFixup.kext -> /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other or /L/E //for Wifi BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext + BrcmPatchRAM2.kext -> /Library/Extensions // for Bluetooth any suggestion? tia .d debug_9903.zip
Administrators Bronxteck Posted June 12, 2019 Administrators Share Posted June 12, 2019 try adding a fake device id for the wifi in your clover config devices section 0x435314E4 or 0x433114E4
