razor7
Cool! Can you share the WD m2 model you are using? Thanks?
razor7
Progress, still can't get the USB installer to load! In the meantime I look for a Samsung 960 EVO M2 NVMe, I disabled M2 slot and I passed the last KP, but now I'm getting another one and I think I hit the intel framebuffer bug. New panic: panic(cpu 2 caller 0xFFFFFF7F93a5dBc2): assertmsg@/Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/GPUDriversIntel/GPUDriversIntel-12.10.12/Common/IONDRV/Intel/AppleIntelFramebuffer/AppleIntelCOntroller.cpp:28342 Help is really appreciated! Thanks!
Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 10, 2019 Moderators Share Posted August 10, 2019 At Clover gui, press O to get to Options. Go down to Graphics Injector and select it Select FakeID and platform-id and change it to 0x12345678 Go back to main menu and start the installer
razor7
Great! I was able to boot the Mojave USB installer and everithing seems to be OK but I can't format my drive as APFS, see screenshot So I decided to format the internal partition as HFS+, this gives me a smooth install process until the installer restarts, then I get "Unknown error: -110", see screenshot Thanks a lot in advise! Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 10, 2019 Moderators Share Posted August 10, 2019 Did you format the whole drive to GUID / Journal Extended? Before creating 2 partitions? I see you have second partition for W10.
razor7
Well, finally got the installer working as expected, I have solved the APFS issue in the USB Mojave Installer by: Run Disk Utility Format macos partition to HFS+ Convert the HFS+ partition to APFS by selecting the HFS+ partition and then click Edit->Convert to APFS Installation went fine, but then hanged at the finishing steps (see attached log) Rebooted the laptop with the USB install disk but selecting macos entry The post installation steps appeared and I was able to finish installation Now I'm setting up Clover for normal boot from internal SSD Installer Log 10-Aug-2019.txt.zip
Moderators Jake Lo Posted August 11, 2019 Moderators Share Posted August 11, 2019 You have either remove all the app from the dock or there's major issue with the installation. Shouldn't be only 5 items on the dock on 1st boot. Your installer doesn't need to be formatted to APFS, HFS+ is fine.
razor7
I removed items from dock jeje... If I choose HFS+ the installer fails, I had to use APFS.
razor7
Guess what?! Now I'm having issues with clover install, jajaja Clover installer works just fine, I follow step 3 from the install guide then press F12 to select UEFI Mac OS X boot option, but that reises the DELL SupportAssist firmware program Feel free to ask me for more info or debug files (if you point me on how to obtain them)
