Cannot complete boot from Catalina installer medium on 7490

I followed the Catalina section of the guide

to prepare a boot medium for my Dell Latitude 7490 (i7-8650U). I also configured the BIOS as per recommendation.

Unfortunately I cannot successfully boot into the installer. After some time I get scrambled characters and the stop sign.

Any hints of what I can do?

Here are screenshots of what I got:

And the output of lspci on Linux:

Details are available in the thread Requirements for Catalina which happens to be pinned to Our Picks column available on forum home page.

I probably left the DW1820A properties injection in the Clover config. If you don't have such a card, that may cause issues... I guess I need to remove or comment out this injection in the pack again.

@Hervé apologies but which thread are you referring to on our home page? I have checked both the pinned post, don’t see anything related to this.

Also I’m still on DW1820A, so its probably not that issue. Odd though, because I am able to boot clover and launch my Mojave’s installation fine, its just not able to boot Catalina installer. Freezes at some point with the no entry sign...
