Hpbrown
hi I've used the clover folder from the previous thread on this topic unfortunately I'm still facing some USB issues - USB Mouse doesn't work - Camera is not working - Bluetooth using a DW1560 doesn't work. (WiFi works though) any idea to solve/troubleshoot these issues? I'm still using Mojave 10.14.6. many thanks
Moderators Jake Lo Posted February 4, 2020 Moderators Share Posted February 4, 2020 Did you use the Config file from the 2nd post?

Hpbrown
With this config, I’ve also noticed that the Touch pad is working but not the buttons. as USB mouse is not working and Touch pas buttons are not working...it’s making very difficult to use this config
Administrators Bronxteck Posted February 5, 2020 Administrators Share Posted February 5, 2020 have you tried using the apple trackpad prefpane for adjustments
Administrators Hervé Posted February 5, 2020 Administrators Share Posted February 5, 2020 TouchPad buttons do not work on 7490 either, at least with the kexts I'm using and I've not found any that bring them to life. If you want click, you have to enable Tap to Click in your PrefPane. This will improve things but actions such as drag & drop will remain unsupported (no drag). Use an external mouse. Hpbrown
the problem is that I also have USB issues with this config. My USB mouse only works when connected to the Dell docking station via USB-C. When connected directly to the USB port of my laptop it doesn't work. any idea how to make the mouse work over the USB port? thanks
Administrators Hervé Posted February 5, 2020 Administrators Share Posted February 5, 2020 Not specifically, no but if you have Thunderbolt on this 7400 (and it looks like you do), there a high chance your USB issues come from that. Look up the threads about USB-c/TB on the Latitude 7490.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted February 5, 2020 Moderators Share Posted February 5, 2020 Also your USB ports might not be setup correctly if Webcam and BT are not detected as well.
