Daniel PN
When I close the lid, the screen is off. When I open the lid, the screen is black, the backlight keyboard and the power button still on. And It's just black like that until I hold the power button to turn off computer and restart it. Daniel PN
Oh, it's working when I close the lid, just turn off the screen and Laptop is still running. But when I close the lid and connect HDMI cable - the laptop sleep as before and I have to hold the power button to reset. Oh, I just install this kexts to EFI, and my Laptop is black screen when boot into Mac. Can I undo and remove this kexts by terminal USB Installer? Moderators Jake Lo Posted February 27, 2020 Moderators Share Posted February 27, 2020 @Daniel PN I'm using the same files I uploaded in the guide that you're using, there's no issue with sleep and wake. Do you see blinking power light when system is asleep? When wake, if screen stays dark, try pressing Escape key to see if screen comes back on. If you have the Intel wireless still, try disabling Wifi in the BIOS. I have a DW1820a on this system working nicely. Note: When you sleep the system and then plug in the HDMI, it's not going to wake the system. You need to have the HDMI connected before you close the lid for the external monitor to stay on. When you open the lid, the LCD will come on as primary and then set the HDMI monitor as extended monitor.
Daniel PN
@Jake Lo Is DW1560 or DW1830 plug and play? I read DW1820a had some part doesn't work so that I just afraid I buy incorrect.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted February 28, 2020 Moderators Share Posted February 28, 2020 None are plug and play. They all need kexts to work. DW1820a need an additional patch but also works, as far as wifi is concern. BT works for the most part. That is what I have on my E7270 currently.

Daniel PN
@Jake Lo I am still sticking with sleep mode. The screen is black and I can't wake it up unless I hold the power button to restart Laptop. It's stuck when I click Lock Screen or Put Display to Sleep. Please help me in this final step. Thank You!!!
