Administrators Syonagar Posted May 16, 2012 Administrators Share Posted May 16, 2012 Dear glebe, It would be helpful to other members if you could shed some light on how you resolved it. Cheers!
GlebeCS
Hi, basically I ran the fix for sleep within edptool (stop hibernation) then within the bios I set a system password, then set it to bypass on resume, works great now, I can tell no difference between my D620 hackintosh and white macbook in performance (D620 has 2GB RAM for Lion) Andy
JawhnL5
I installed the 10.7.4 update from Apple's website. Reboot and instant Kernel Panic. So it seems the same is true for the D830 nVidia model.
Administrators Syonagar Posted May 17, 2012 Administrators Share Posted May 17, 2012 Dear Jawn, Did you try to replace the AppleACPIPlatform.kext, etc, as above? So far we have yet to test on a D830. I'm assuming your problem in the other post is resolved. Cheers!
chris88962
D830 Intel 1920x1200. Same issue, fixed with AppleACPIPlatform.kext from 10.6.7. I'm also using native speedstep, by setting smbios.plist to Macbook5,1. It seems to me that before 10.7.4 it would drop CPU voltage to 1.09 and now doesn't drop past 1.15. jgbiggs
sorry if this is a obvious question, but I don't remember running "myfix" after I installed EDP when I originally hacked my d620. What/where/how/etc is this myfix? I don't see it as a menu option when i run edptool.command.
Administrators Syonagar Posted May 18, 2012 Administrators Share Posted May 18, 2012 Dear bigs, Myfix is an option that comes when you run myhack. So its really myhack. Cheers!
Supero
And what a party that was! Hi Guys, Sorry for the late reply, been partying a bit this weekend. Ok, so what you need todo is to copy the kext to your usb pen, boot from it and open terminal. 4. Set correct permissions on file chmod -R 755 rm -Rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext chown -R root:wheel rm -Rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext It should have been been: chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext Cheers Mate!
