Administrators Hervé Posted May 1, 2021 Administrators Share Posted May 1, 2021 I'in the process of writing here a detailed description of the manner in which brightness keys operate and how the patches apply and work. Hopefully it'll lit everyone's lantern though it'll be technical given that it's low-level ACPI stuff..
kostas54
I have replaced also the display with an IPS one and the new one is very bright, so i use it with brightness below medium. I think it is possible by injecting manual values to pnlf. Never bothered with that though. How about the audio I was asking before ? Do you use cocdecommander.kext? If not , do you have audio working from external speakers after sleep?
Next One
Audio: see previous page; no c-commander here, have you tried alcid=21 ?
kostas54
Yes , but sometimes starts a really annoying high pitch sound from connected speakers and cpu stays at 100% until I reboot.
Next One
Hm can't say - I have never connected speakers to it; just using internal ones.
