eduhi
Hello friends. Please help me with ALC270, I stuck on **Section 2** > Now, we need to correct the above verb data according to verbs info explained in the second post, I don't understand how to correct verb data Now on my laptop ASUS X301A (Maverick 10.9.1), working only speakers with microphone, and don't working headphones, HDMI audio, no audio after sleep, with DSDT and patched AppleHDA from here http://olarila.com/files/10.9/Audio/AppleHDA/ALC270/ codec_dump.txt AppleHDA.kext.zip
el_charlie
EMlyDinEsH, I like to give you a BIG THANK YOU for this guide! I have an Asus U46SV with an ALC269VB codec and by using your guide I got it working! Even sensing an headphone and after sleep (with your EAPD fix)!! I just want you to know, that although you used the ALC269 like an example for your guide, my codec dump is a bit different and my paths, connections and verbs were slightly different. I ended using your ALC269 kext and replaced my own xmls (layout28 and platforms). It works great. Attached are my codec dump and my working ALC269 AppleHDA.kext for 10.9.1. I have a question. I obviously have HDEF with layout 28 in my dsdt, but in there in "model" I have "Realtek ALC271X", but in "name" I have "Realtek ALC269". I copied that entry on another forum, don't remember where. It is ok, to leave it like that, or it's just aesthetic and can use ALC269 on both fields???? EDIT: I fixed to ALC269 and everything works fine! Off topic, I'm also using your Asus Fn beyboard and works wonderfull (my laptop doesn't have a BL keyboard). On keyboard settings, on modifier keys, now I see that I have two keyboards, is that OK??? Thanks for everything! Cheers! AppleHDA.10.9.1.ALC269.kext.zip codec_dump.txt
Zackptg5
Hey EMlyDinEsH, for your platform.xml patching, I saw on a post here: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/283754-patched-applehdakext-for-codecs-idt-92hd81b1x5-92hd91bxx-92hd87b13-92hd87b24-92hd87xx-etc/ where the user put the amps only on the audio selectors/mixers: platforms3.png This makes sense since these are the units doing to sound processing. So is this right or your way or does it matter? Also, what's the difference between an audio selector and mixer and should only one of these have the amp on it?
