esmith1966 4
I have an E6230 with an Apple Airport Card. Using Big Sur using the bootpack found on this site. I have bluetooth, but no WiFi, not sure what to do to activate it. It was working under Catalina.
Moderators Jake Lo 1699 Posted January 11 Moderators Share Posted January 11 Which model of Airport Card? It might no longer support beyond Catalina, so you might need to use kext from Catalina on BS. There's a injection kext for this. Check Herve's guide on wireless devices for links
Administrators Hervé 1076 Posted January 11 Administrators Share Posted January 11 Apple Airport Card is pretty meaningless. You'll have to state the exact card model to get a proper answer. As Jake said, Big Sur dropped support for even more cards than Mojave & Catalina did so you may have one of those. As usual, please consult our wireless cards inventory. Administrators Hervé 1076 Posted January 11 Administrators Share Posted January 11 Just check the card's PCI id in IOReg with IORegistryExplorer or DPCIManager.

Administrators Hervé 1076 Posted January 11 Administrators Share Posted January 11 Of course, it's one of the Broadcom chipsets dropped in Big Sur as indicated in our Wireless cards inventory last December...
