Moderators Jake Lo Posted February 1, 2021 Moderators Share Posted February 1, 2021 try different layout-id for ALC292 if none works, then learn to patch your own audio kext
Administrators Hervé Posted February 1, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 1, 2021 And CodecCommander kext probably useful too.
SaemChanif
already installed, trying all layout id for alc292 but still no success.
Administrators Bronxteck Posted February 1, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 1, 2021 try using only the boot flag alcid= and add the id you are testing to it like alcid=12 remove any alcid's you have in ssdt's or property injections in config. with OC you will need working nvram if not it will not update your alc id as you test different ones. you will have to manually delete the variable from nvram and enter a new nvram value.
