E5540: graphics glitch

hello everyone,

i have a dell e5540 with an i7 4600u intel hd 4400 and nvidia gt 720m 8gb ram (2x4).

i installed catalina and i use the clover bootlader and disabled the gt 720m.

my concern and that the chipset is recognized but with 7Mb of Vram.

I try you config.plist and when I reboot i've

even with the FAKEPCIID and by putting 0x04128086 in intelGFX and 0a260006 and checking intel inject I have the same result

Undo all the changes you added

you just need to enable 'Legacy Option ROMS' in the BIOS

what is the native resolution of your LCD

@hardevil, not that I want to come harsh but:

1. we don't advocate nor support distros here and you appear to be using one
2. the config you use is a pice of cr*p

Please obtain a legitimate copy of macOS from Apple servers (we've got a detailed thread pinned to Our Picks section on the main forum page to that effect) and follow our existing guides for your laptop model.
