Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 4, 2021 Moderators Share Posted June 4, 2021 does it show up in system information under camera? if no, then you're still having USB port issue if yes, then you webcam might not be supported Check the bios to see if it's enabled... Pixotz
I just checked in system report it doesn't detect anything for the webcam and in hackintool I see nothing unless I don't know which port knows for the webcam in Hackintool.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 5, 2021 Moderators Share Posted June 5, 2021 Have you checked the BIOS, see if it's enabled? If it's there, Hackintool should pick it up and show as an internal device.
Pixotz
I looked in the bios and the webcam is active but in Hackintool I don't know which port it is for the webcam.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 5, 2021 Moderators Share Posted June 5, 2021 Ok, make sure you don't have any USB kext besides USBInjectAll.kext. I see you have version 0.7.1, try switching it to a newer version .0.7.2 or 0.7.5 You may enable or disable XHCIPortlimit in the Config file, see whichever works. Check Hackintool again after reboot. Pixotz
Wait, I'm re-posting my EFI file because there were some changes that the very first EFI I posted: EFI OC 0.6.9 7280
Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 6, 2021 Moderators Share Posted June 6, 2021 The usbmap.kext you have won't work because it's hardcoded to MBP14,1 and you're using SMBios MBP13,1 Try this one, I modified it to MBP13,1 USBMap.kext.zip
Pixotz
I just tested the Kext and the webcam and still not functional.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted June 6, 2021 Moderators Share Posted June 6, 2021 Did you add it to the Config file? Your latest file shows you have USBInjectAll.kext only. Make sure you add it and disable USBInjectAll.kext. If it still don't work, then try this one, don't forget to change name in Config or rename the kext name to USBMap.kext USBPorts_7280.kext.zip
Pixotz
ha in the Config.plist file you have to rename USBInjectall to USBmap f I understand well. ?
