bettyboo
Thanks for the quick responses! I have added the Vendor and Device IDs into ATI5000Controller and AMDAccelerator kexts and added them to /S/L/E and added ATIConfig=Eulemur and GE=Yes to the boot.plist. The Bootloader is chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded) 2.0.1 as it was explicitely stated to support Radeon HD5450. Does that make sense? As mentioned, I see that Card and Framebuffer and corectly mentioned in the Chameleon Logs, that's what's confusing me.
Administrators Hervé Posted April 6, 2013 Administrators Share Posted April 6, 2013 Instead of modding the /S/L/E kexts, I would have made a copy to /E/E and modded those, then run myFix (full). This way, original /S/L/E kexts would have been left untouched. We would also recommend Chameleon, not chimera (chameleon, stolen and rebranded), but it's up to you in the end... bettyboo
Sorry for not responding ... I am still on it. I guess I have fiddled around too much without really tracking everything, I guess I need to do a clean install. Tried out too much
