Hi everybody !

I've recently have a Latitude E6410 and I also love OS X.

My Latitude have 64GB SSD, Intel 520M and integrated Intel HD graphics.

Does it work with OS X with Qe/Ci, sleep ?

What version I can install ? 10.9, .8 ?

I have a Macbook Air at my home for preparing usb keys.

Thanks !

Hey adaigre,

You can install whichever version of os x you'd like! Both versions work nicely on the E6410, however right now, I am still working out some of the issues people are having on maverick, so if you want to get it up and running quickly, I would suggest mountain lion, as more people are knowledgeable on the matter and can help you much quicker.

Ok thanks, It's a very good news. I've already considered installing Mac OS X in the past on my AMD PC but I've never done.

I will read the topic to learn more.

Thank you so much !

Unfortunately I have my first problem.

The procedure with myHack was successful but my usb key was not displayed in Kext Wizard.

I can not get either to mount the volume, the Finder tells me that I do not have the necessary permissions.

Any idea ?

Try unplugging the flash drive and plugging it back in again. Do you see it in disk utility?

I've retried on Macbook Air but when I boot on myHack OS X Install Disk on my laptop the wheel locks after few seconds ...

Any idea ?

I looked, there is no AppelIntelHDGraphics.kext or AppleIntelHDGraphicsFb in my usb drive.

The problem seems to be related to the NIC (according to backtrace).

EDIT : Ok I've found thoses files. I've removed both, I'll will try.

EDIT2 : Same problem, I've disabled NIC and it works ! But installation fails after 10 minutes (FSF Cache not written /Volumes/Macintosh HD/Recovered Items/Library/Caches/com.apple.FindSystemFiles.plist).

I will download other DMG and retry.

EDIT3 : It installs with a new DMG.

By cons I saw my Wi-Fi card does not work under OS X? (Intel).

Qe / Ci are they available for the Intel IGP?
