gray
So I have made an installer, and installed Clover and OpenCore on one of the usb drives, But nothing happens, OpenCore only shows me EFI Boot, EFISELECTOR, and Reset NVRAM. Clover I think shows the same thing, I am trying to install at least a macOS version on my Dell Inspiron 3580. Please help.
Moderators Jake Lo Posted December 17, 2022 Moderators Share Posted December 17, 2022 Post full system's specs including Harddisk brand and model How are you making the installer? Did you format it to GUID / Journal Extended? Is your BIOS set to UEFI / AHCI?
gray
Pretty sure I used GUID when i made the USB, And I don't know where to change the thing to AHCI. Do you want me to use OpenCore Legacy Patcher to flash a usb of Big Sur?
Administrators Hervé Posted December 18, 2022 Administrators Share Posted December 18, 2022 Disk mode (RAID/AHCI/IDE) is something you set in BIOS. Do consult your product's documentation on Dell support web site.
