jerseydan31
One more question....every other time I shut down the OS take about 5 minutes to shut down (just shows a white screen with the mouse cursor present).....then the spinning 'beach ball' is shown and then it shut downs. Any thoughts?Should I start another thread? THX again! JD31
Administrators Hervé Posted December 14, 2012 Administrators Share Posted December 14, 2012 That ML problem has already been discussed at great length in another thread: https://osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/1827-slow-shutdown/?hl=appleacpiplatform&do=findComment&comment=13028 Remove the AppleACPIPlatform kext from /S/L/E (not from /E/E), rebuild permissions/cache with myFix and see how it goes. jerseydan31
Yep looks like that might have been it. Removed that kext and so far each shutdown/reboot looks to take normal amount of time. THX again Herve´!
