VOLTAGE
I've successfully set up EFI for my Dell Inspiron 3880, and most things are running smoothly. However, I'm encountering issues with audio, sleep mode, and VGA output. I attempted to resolve the audio problem by updating the driver, but the system isn't detecting any audio devices. I also explored Hackintools, but it isn't displaying any audio devices either. I'm using two monitors: one connected via HDMI, which works fine but lacks audio, and the other using VGA, which doesn't produce any output. Additionally, I'm unable to get the sleep mode to work correctly. Could someone please assist me with these issues? I'll attach my EFI configuration for reference. Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 23, 2023 Moderators Share Posted September 23, 2023 if you have Windows running, launchd dxdiag.exe, save it and attach the file here. Need to determine what audio codec it has among other stuff.

Moderators Jake Lo Posted September 24, 2023 Moderators Share Posted September 24, 2023 your might need IRQ fix https://dortania.github.io/Getting-Started-With-ACPI/ssdt-methods/ssdt-easy.html#so-what-can-t-ssdttime-do or add voodooHDA to confirm if ALC256 is indeed the correct codec for your system,
