jamzmoby
Hi i have a problem with my AppleHDA kext with the patching. I've followed this guide and thought i had it sorted but i can't get my device to display any outputs or inputs in the system preference pane. The codec was extracted using Linux live cd and is ALC269. My machine is a desktop all in one pc so basically a laptop without a keyboard. I've tried out voodoohda and that works so i know that my speakers and headphones are working. I've enclosed IOREG from the patched kext that i done and from voodohda , also my DSDT with layout 28 the same as my patched hda kext. Also and original mavericks AppleHDA.kext ubpatched and anything i think mite be relevant to somebody helping me out to find where i,ve gone wrong. Thanks in advance. NewDaigo
Dear all, Could use some help trying to patch AppleHDA for my ALC236. I've followed the guide (results, except binary attached). The only deviation is that I'm injecting the layout id via my config.plist, instead of adding to the DSDT file. Not sure if that would be the issue, but when I use AppleHDA patcher, I do not change DSDT as well, just the full patched AppleHDA.kext. This gives me sound on speakers, headphones and my internal mic is working, only my headphone mic (via jack) isn't. Hence my attempt to patch myself. Many thanks in advance for any input you're able to provide! ALC236.zip codec_dump.txt

RikiyaHatake
Hi, i need help to patch my AppleHDA. At Patching AppleHDA Kext part, there is no Config Data and Layout ID in item 0, but there is in item 3. Should I add to item 0 or edit item 3?And i'm using layout 1, so instead of change the dsdt value from '1c' to '0c', i should change it to '01' right? Thanks
