iMick
Could you try updating EDP with edptool.command first? We had a problem with updating inside the webapp. It says updated, but doesn't catch all files. So first update with EDPTool.command and then run EDPweb again. vipjun
hi iMick, EDIT: I found out i've been using the edptool.command all along. i'll try the EDPweb now. So I think the update via edptool.command was breaking it, maybe i'll just use edptool.command just to update
vipjun
EDPWeb, stops at step 4) calling myfix the process times out, and the main window says "Failed to Load" Reason the request timed out.
iMick
Then you have still the old version, I think. You could run EDPWeb also in your webbrowser. (127.0.0.1:11250/index.php). Then it won't time out. But in the newest version this problem should be resolved.
vipjun
EDP installer now works , Ethernet works. However, i'm getting the restart computer screen after about 30 minutes and system seems unstable after that. Might not be fault with EDP. though I haven't put anything in my current newly installed system. that I had not done when running the previous EDP. Administrators Bronxteck Posted February 15, 2013 Administrators Share Posted February 15, 2013 if chameleon is booting with rev 2181 then replace the boot file in root with 2170 boot.zip
Administrators Hervé Posted February 15, 2013 Administrators Share Posted February 15, 2013 Yep, the D620 nVidia does not like Cham r2181, stick to r2170 as advised by Bronxteck. D820 nVidia might suffer same issue. My own D620 nVidia would KP with EFINVRam error messages when I tried boot file r2181 a couple of days ago. Everything was back to normal after rolling back to r2170. No such problem with the GMA version though (on SL 10.6.8)...
